🤔 Hmm..Looking around the neighborhood there, it seems like those trash cans are part of that apartment complex, rather than bus stop itself, since I see the same style of square cans in other places away from those 2 bus stops.

Hello.
In this changeset you indicated that these bus stops have trash bins. Is that accurate? I don't think I've ever seen a bus stop with a trash can..

Hello.
Why did you tag building 1320668356 as layer=-1, implying it's under ground?

Hello.
Please write meaningful changeset comments.
Putting "Location updates" on every single changeset doesn't help other mappers understand what exactly you are editing.
Please see this article that explains this in more detail osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments

Yes, dogs get new furware there. 🫣

Also according to https://untappedcities.com/2023/06/26/coney-island-hospital/ there will be a flood protection wall, driveway to the hospital entrance and green space.

According to a drawing on "what's happening here" sign it looks like it'll be a plaza/park in front of the rooth based ginsburg building. The demolition is going on right now. The buildings are down to 4 floors now.

They do it for situations where there are replacing curbs as part of the regular maintenance process and add lowered curbs so that if at some point in the future the city decides to modify a given intersection's rules they just need to slap some paint on to create a proper pedestrian crossing.

As documneted on tactile_paving=* "tactile_paving=yes" on a crossing way indicates a presence of tactile paving on the connecting KERBS, while the same tag on the crossing way indicates a presence of tactile surface on the way itself. Looking at the street-side imagery, I do not see any of the added crossings having any sort of tactile paving along the ways.

Furthermore, a road's way is supposed to be mapped in the center of the physical road bed, not based on the paint or offset moving lanes. The way of E181 should be mapped straight, without that kink on the unmarked crossing.

https://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/downloads/pdf/trafrule.pdf

New York City Traffic Rules Section 4-04(c)(3), a pedestrian shall not:

* Cross any road at an intersection except in a crosswalk.
* Cross a road except in a crosswalk at any block where there are traffic control signals at the intersections bordering the block.

152832212

Actually that's exactly what directions should you to do! Crossing directions should not give you literally illegal instructions, ESPECIALLY for low vision and blind users! Routers should not be telling blind users to cross a road where drivers are not expecting to see pedestrians.

152832212

I removed it because in _my opinion_ unmarked crossing isn't indicating anything, because literally every single inch of a road between 2 sidewalks could be tagged as unmarked crossing. Plus it had tag "name=Crossing", which as documented on osm.wiki/Names#Name_is_the_name_only shouldn't be used a made up descriptors of features.

Hello.
Please note that multiple bus routes (like most other lists in OSM) must be separated using ; and not just a space.

Hello.
Generally, in OSM whenever possible it's better to update the existing features into their current state rather than delete existing and create new. Doing that preserves history of that feature, which can be useful to refer to in the future.
In this edit it appears that for some reason you deleted the polygon for the Russian embassy and recreated it again.

Additionally, you created a closed way/1291940537, yet tagged it as a multipolygon.
And created relation/17710791 consisting of just a single member.
When making such edits, please check that you are accomplishing what you are trying to do...

Additionally, when mapping tennis courts, they should be mapped to the actual tennis court itself, not the surrounding area, which can be tagged separately.

I corrected these issues for you.👍

Hello.
Please split your edits into changesets grouped by region. There's no reason for this changeset to contain edits from both Florida and Connecticut.

Also, please write meaningful changeset messages. Writing "." doesn't help others understand what you are editing.
