I haven't heard of Lyft or Uber use OSM for POIs. Lyft does use OSM for the underlying map, for their internal route/price estimation, etc, but I haven't heard them using OSM for POIs. I haven't seen Uber do anything with OSM, at least not in NYC.

It seems strange that you'd want your customers to be forced to type the full branded hotel name rather than just the main name and be shown all the relevant entries. For example, I just tried searching for "arlo" Organic Maps and Mapy.cz and all locations came up regardless of their full name. Search engines are not that dumb.

Instead of deleting this node with all the correct information, you could've just simply move it to where it actually it.

OSM must NOT be used for SEO shenanigans. It is about accuracy of data.
This business is called Arlo Hotels. Your own account is called Arlo Hotels, not Arlo Williamsburg.
Williamsburg is just a single location of this business. As such the location description is encoded in branch= tag.

And it still doesn't explain why you deleted a valid wikidata tag...

I see what you mean. But in addition to just mapping the curb you should've also mapped the driveway way as well. And position the curb where it is actually is, and not on the sidewalk..

Also please note that you can NOT use Google Maps or Streetview to map in OSM under any circumstances. It is a copyright violation and a violation of TOS between you and OSM, and you and Google. Any changes based on Google's imagery will be reverted outright.

Most of the time if businesses change, they change phone numbers. Leaving old phone numbers, especially for medical offices is potentially dangerous.
