Hello.
When mapping rectangular or square features, after drawing you them you can right click and select "Make Square" (shortcut key Q). It'll make it so that this feature has right angles, making your mapping look neater and more accurate to to the real world.

Hello.
Please write better changeset comments for your edits. #osmus-tasks-150 task is not for this area and it doesn't involve mapping streetlights or hydrants

Hello.
You moved way/247636427 just to fit a swimming pool, but the building that's there is completely different shape..🤨 You shouldn't move a building just to fit a swimming pool without correcting an outright wrong building.

This is how it was originally imported 13 years ago. 🤷

You can use https://jmapb.github.io/nycaabs/ to look up building info by its BIN, BBL(Boro/Block/Lot) or even just plain address

134884833

It's fine to merge POI and building if it's a single occupant, such as free-standing fastfood places or bigbox stores like Costco, etc. But if it's just a regular biz on the ground floor of 2-3 story apartment building, they should be mapped as nodes.

I fixed POIs from this changeset.

134884833

This changeset caused another issue. You used iD's extract POI feature. Unfortunately, it still doesn't understand that tag nycdoitt:bin=* should remain on the building and not moved into POI. https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD/issues/8539
This tag contains each building's ID in NYC DOB's database which allows us to look up various metadata on that building...

134840218

This changeset has similar problem as the previous one. You shouldn't tag the whole building as a business if it's only on the ground floor. It should remain as POI within the perimeter of that building.

Your changes to many of the buildings in this changeset are not correct. You shouldn't tag the whole building as a business if that business occupies only part of the building.
Many of the businesses here occupy only ground floor with residential above, or a single floor otherwise.

If a building was demolished and there's a construction site, we have a convention of renaming nycdoitt:bin = tag to old_nycdoitt:bin= for easy reference in the future to find new new BIN.

Hello.
When extracting POIs from buildings in NYC, please take care to make sure that nycdoitt:bin=* tag remains on the building. It's NYC DOB's unique identifier for each building, which allows easy way to look up other metadata on that building.
iD still doesn't properly understand this tag to know that it should be left on the building rather than extracted with other tags.
