the problem is that I have no idea at all which shop type is correct here (and that is why shop=boutique is problematic)

wait, shop=grocery has "specializes in selling non-perishable food" which is a bit different I guess. Still, cheese and ham does not really fit

shop=deli defines shop=deli as "A shop selling delicatessen (fine foods), e.g. cured meat and fish, expensive cheeses and spreads, caviar, nut and olive oils, or luxury confectionery. May also sell fine wine. "

are they selling ready to eat food, or food that you still need to prepare at home to eat it?

in the first case: amenity=fast_food (or amenity=restaurant) with cuisine=baozi would work

in the second maybe shop=food food=prepared_meals cuisine=baozi ?
Or shop=food food=prepared_meals prepared_meals=baozi ?
(I tagged very similar ones with very similar type of food - called "pierogi" in my local area)

Or is it some completely different type of shop, with tag used as "boutique" is French word for shop? In such case see shop=* for some documented values.
