Deleting the relation then moving `type=boundary` to the outline is definitely not valid.

I highlight doubt whether Quarry Bay Station should represented this manner way/296724539/history

`indoor=corridor` is not really correct either

See message at Discord https://discord.gg/P8fxC98, and please check that you are duplicating station nodes

1. You unnecessarily removed information from the map data.
2. You seems to still fail to grasp the idea that it has to "matter" to someone. As long as it's the truth, anything can be added. I'm sure you won't fare well when asking everyone else in the world why are they asking some detail you aren't bothered well.
3. This is your responsibility then. There's nothing about "transition". All updates are live. The map data was crucially wrong before as well. If you want control, as I have said, make and use your own copy of the data or render and implement the edits you want. You should understand what you are working with.

5. This is exactly why it is the reponsibility of applications to show data to their users as they want. Map data has to remain useful for anyone. What you are doing is tagging for the renderer and application. Why don't you make changes or open an issue with your applications?

94081404

1. Yes, because some traffic lights are on private roads,
2. Yes, land-use, plot, and facility information can be important
3. Why don't you do it them, and stop removing other information needlessly?
4. You are hindering the quality of data for everyone. This is an unfortunate take. It's not a matter of who will "enjoy". It's useful information for anyone. If you want control, curate your own map data from this.

94081404

1. The convention is to always use full form over abbreviations. There's also `*:short_name=` and `*:wikidata=`.

94081404

1. Then you should tell them the truncate the name, not remove useful information from everyone.
2. If you know the correct value, why don't you change it for the applicable ones?

So do you have a problem with `owner=` or `operator=`? changeset/94081404

94081404

Not to mention someone has previously added `operator=AFCD` to some of them

What's wrong with `operator=` here? Your "local need" should intepret data for itself.

You deleted `highway=`

While this was recently deleted, your solution doesn't work. It needs to have legal restrictions.
