i'd recommend reverting this in favor of relation/4218705 - i would say UVA is indeed a university campus and not a village by tag definition

hi - the base boundaries would have been from the DISDI public dataset (https://www.acq.osd.mil/eie/BSI/BEI_DISDI.html) I had a task on the US tasking manager a while back with the data loaded in there - the fence would have been from imagery in iD...

hi! welcome to OSM! - this property is owned by the government, specifically joint base langely-eustis - each unit is owned/leased by the balfor beatty housing company who has rights the residential buildings - the entire property each building sits on to include the roads, parks, and supporting infrastructure , is owned by the military. please let me know if you need help reverting the landuse back to military

hello - i'm local to the area - the boundaries actually do extend out to the water - the state collected, researched and created a layer of boundaries is here https://vgin.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=a3a5b9e4193b48368e18355247a54e4d. If there's a law to the contrary, i'd be interested in taking a look at that with you.

hi! looks like you may have accidentally changed the tag of the whole base to residential here... with regard to the housing - the official installation boundary includes the housing area
