Thanks for this - a couple of comments on this changeset (I don't know what the right answer is).

I think "highway=cycleway" is better for dedicated cycle routes, rather than a multi-use path like this (i.e. I'd tend towards highway=path; bicycle=yes/permissive; foot=yes/permissive).

Also, on whether it could be "bicycle=designated" or "bicycle=yes", designated to me implies there's signage on the route (e.g. white-on-blue circular bicycle signage as on cycle paths). This is set up on private land as a permissive route (albeit with a map) but no signage I think?

I don't feel precious about this, it's not clear what the right answer is.
