Ah fair. Looks weird, but that's Toronto cycle infra I guess
how do bikes get routed from Dowling onto the bridge now?
And I guessed that Track 1 doesn't have an elevator from aerial imagery not really showing an elevator-like thing unlike for platforms 2/3 and 4. VIA website confirms platforms 2/3 are elevator-accessible from north station building.
I forgot to mention a lot of OpenStreetCam as confirming source. Stop assignments for GO routes 15 and 18 from note/1073448 and note/1073449

As I understand, the split-for-intersection-curbs is from a literal reading of osm.wiki/Editing_Standards_and_Conventions#Divided_highways "A divided highway ... is any highway where traffic flows are physically separated by a barrier ... Divided highways should be drawn as separate ways" Frankly, I'm not a fan of them either. But they've been done so extensively as to amount to a local standard if not worldwide guidance. Any intersection of highway=secondary in 905 is likely to have them. I wouldn't just go in and undo people's editing? I really doubt it was an import, if only because this style has been ongoing, see e.g. way/548754091/history which was split in late 2017
Are you against splitting where divided? I wouldn't disagree, but it'd be quite a big change in GTA
It's physically separated here though?
Ah thanks! I'll note. I can't recall what exactly I intended for that way. Perhaps that it's only suitable for foot, and not for example for cycling? What would the proper combination be then - perhaps foot=yes + bicycle=no? access=no + foot=yes tends to render it as private in the main osm.org layer which discourages me from that option.

still wrong lol...
Hi, The proposed alignment for Ontario Line has been given a bit more detail. Would you update the routes you drew? See https://blog.metrolinx.com/2019/07/25/metrolinx-and-infrastructure-ontario-release-initial-business-case-for-ontario-line-subway/
Also minor things like two bike share stations. Could not find Mapillary of some express bus stops like Adelaide/Yonge and Church/Lombard, so didn't add them
mini_roundabout tags removed in changeset/72221232
node/1416834955 is not what a highway=mini_roundabout is in OSM. mini_roundabout is a road junction without a raised central island but nevertheless subject to roundabout-like traffic flow (traffic entering must yield). A "round area of paving stones" should be mapped as a round closed way with appropriate highway tag and area=yes.
POI updates not exhaustive, I didn't really pay attention to ones I haven't updated here
+1 and thanks for upgrading the main roads in GTA - that's been bothering me for a while. Having Hwy 7 the same as any street downtown was ridiculous
I see that transit route relations remained broken. Sorry... Might try to fix them at some point
Hi Jonathan, Your edit added level crossings between a subway line and several footpaths. Did you mean to do this? We don't have level crossings of rapid transit lines in Toronto.
This change makes node/3600915103 a bit of a joke. It really is signed only "TD".
Please also use slightly more verbose changeset messages.
You've added the proposed extension to the main route relation relation/102386 I don't think that's correct
