I believe you that last December the wiki might have look messy.
A proposal regarding hydropower was approved last March.

You may be interested by usage=headrace for low pressure waterways upstream of power plant. usage=penstock is only suitable for inclined pipes leading to tubine at high pressure.
Consider using waterway=pressurised on penstock and maybe on headraces too if intakes are below the water level.

A further changeset will move all those bogus ways to line=bay

This was discussed for days on local chapter mailing list talk-fr.
This is not so mechanical since I check each place prior to retag it (Mapillary, aerial photos, personal pictures and knowledge).
power=station has been deprecated for years, it's time to get rid of it

Je serais intéressé pour savoir si une option particulière de l'éditeur créé encore les postes électriques avec ce tag là ?

Je viens de voir que quelques changeset dont celui-ci ont affecté la géométrie d'un gazoduc.
Il est important de ne pas connecter de route ou de parking à ces tracés souterrains.
Serait-ce possible de corriger svp ?

En revanche, il serait utile de modifier operator=ENEDIS en operator=Enedis et ref:ENEDIS:gdo en ref:ERDF:gdo puisque ce sont les deux valeurs consacrées.
ref:ERDF:gdo est certe ancienne, mais il faudrait tout modifier d'un coup et nous n'avons pas prévu de le faire pour l'instant

I agree the docs I linked may be compyrighted, but information on them certainly not.
To build such infrastructure, public institutions have to give an agreement based on projet files which are freely available and displayed to citizens. As Switzerland is a very welcoming country, open days are often organized and it's possible to come inside the caverns (like done in Veytaux, VD last year https://twitter.com/InfosReseaux/status/863386777884778496 way/493901521). I didn't even try to reproduce the drawings, but to study, gather and produce my own interpretation which differ a bit from documents found like we do directly on ground.

This is precise mapping but not exact mapping. All nodes are added by hand on JOSM according to charts and explanatory texts. For example, I know the Linthal 2015 cavern is 150m long x 54m height then I just draw a rectangle at the approximative location but without any certitude.

Yes I'm really keen on power plant mapping and manage to find precise public documentation.
For the cavern of Lint-Limmern and Linthal 2015, there is plenty of documentation available on the web/youtube/whatever

Oups, this was a mistake. IGM BdOrtho is a French national database I use to use there. I didn't updated the source field in JOSM last night.
Source is local knowledge and ESRI imagery in JOSM.

Is this voltage? Supports? Operator? Very difficult to know in which way this will be understood. That's why i just want to say "it's power line"
