Should the "bird's foot" ways on the eastern side of the roundabout that are currently tagged "maxspeed=50" (i.e. 50 kph) actually be "maxspeed=30 mph", like the matching ones on the west of the roundabout, or "maxspeed=50 mph", to continue the same speed seen in the way to the east?

The ways here are tagged as "maxspeed=50", i.e. 50 kph. Should this be "maxspeed=50 mph", or perhaps "maxspeed=30 mph", which is ~50 kph? I think that the latter is a possibility given the surrounding houses I can see in Bing imagery.
