Welcome to OSM! The residential areas should not be tagged with osm.wiki/Tag:place=, a central point in the settlement should be tagged with osm.wiki/Tag:place=. You correctly identified residential areas in the imagery but drew them quite qrudely, please map them more accurately in future; this aids in more accurate population estimates. See how I mapped it in changeset/168397713. Please keep this feedback in mind when contributing in future. Thank you for your contribution. I do not think that the footprints you added in the East likely represent buildings.

Building footprints should not overlapp becasue they generally represent buildings on the same level. Building footprints should envelope one building and not a group of them. This changeset it rather large for what it contains. good changesets (saves/uploads) are thematically and geographically linked e.g. if the footprints you added fit within one screenful at a zoom level high enough to evaluate their quality. Building footprints valid but inaccurate. I recommend that you map footprints slightly smaller than the roof you see in the imagery. Hi Ollie, welcome to OSM. The footprint you mapped here does represent a building visible in the imagery, but it is oversized and has not been appropriately squared (q). You should not include a buildings shdow in a footprint when aquiring its shape and size. See how I mapped it in Changeset: 168375583. Please keep this feedback in mind when contributing in future. The footprint in the north is valid, accurate and appropriately squared. I do not think that the two footprints in the south represent buildings, becasue the vegetation adjacent to them appears to be too short to explain the lack of shadow visible in the imagery. Overall the orientation of all footprints is accurate.

Hi Camille, I am not able to view the imagery source that you used to originally map these footprints, so I'm going based on what I see in other sources. I wanted to give you some feedback, since this is the only changset you uploaded, and I noticed you mapping on another project.--- I cannot comment much on the validity of footprints though I do think that you correctly identified some buildings. It looks like you correctly circularised footprints but didn't always square the others (q) .--- You also glued some nodes together in ways that appear unlikely to represent the ground truth. Your cursor will snap to existing data if you get too close: hold alt to prevent this. It is possible that you oversized the footprints you added making this more probable: to scale elements select them and use shift+(-/+). ID editor keyboard shortcuts are available when pressing ? ---Please keep this feedback in mind when contributing in future. Thank you for your contribution.

Hello, thanks for attending the mapathon today! I think that all of the footprints you added here represent buildings, and virtually all of them are accurate and appropriately shaped. I only made minor modifications to a few of them. A high quality contribution. Thank you for your contribution. Hello, The vast majority of footprints here are valid though oversized and this has led to an overlap of footpritns here on one occasion. Some of the footprints you added do not represent buildings, reference the mapping guide for this area. I recommend watching the beginer mistakes videos on the missing maps youtube channel for a demo on how to resolve/avoid some of the issues preset here. This is a valid, accurate and precise footprint. Please map them closer to this standard in future. Please generally upload more changes per changeset (save), I think it's better to save in terms of time e.g. every 5-10 mins or upon completion of a task. It makes them easier to work with. This footprint is vaid and appropriately circularised but is oversized. Oversized features can casue overlap issues and lead to less accurate population estimates. Take care when tracing the footpritnt and use the shortcut shift+(-/+) to scale selected features after tagging and shaping them. --- Please keep this feedback in mind when contributing in future.
