Sorry for the delay. I think ctait's baseline of old Bing (which is now available as Esri clarity) seems to be fairly close to the cadastral parcels. See Allanton for example way/228795680 - needs about (1.0,-2.7) for Bing.

Your numbers for Duns seem about right, though it might be even less of an offset. At least it's not as large as some places I've seen (upwards of 3)! Just wanted to make sure you were aware :)

Not sure if you are aware but there is now a OSMUK Cadastral Parcels overlay in iD/JOSM to help align Bing imagery.

Only mentioning it as I noticed this building and walls are slightly out of alignment with old Bing (Esri clarity) way/924067327#map=19/55.77896/-2.29845&layers=N

Fortunately doesn't seem like the offset is that large though :-)

It may well be private land but I highly doubt that's its name, removed.

or oneway=no tags to highway=residential as these are the implied defaults :)

Don't think you need the additional caravan/camp site nodes e.g. node/8691847446 as these are duplicates of the larger area.

But if you are using Google Street View to see where the speed limit changes then that it is not allowed for mapping in OSM.

Can you not still access the cycleway from the road, i.e. if you use the roundabout coming from the west?

Thanks, I've marked it as brownfield (i.e. awaiting construction) and removed all the buildings and paths.

You seem to have moved a number of objects however Bing imagery is out of alignment with the OSM data here. Now all of the bollards near the Parliament are too close to the road.

Oh right, didn't know the type=site. Suppose it could be done with just a normal area around the perimeter but there's some overhanging buildings?

I meant specifically the =road tag value, as that means it's not open! I've set it to unclassified like the surrounding roads.
