Verkehrsinseln dienen eigentlich schon immer der Verkehrsberuhigung. Allerdings willst Du ja die Fläche mappen, nicht die Bedeutung für den Verkehr.
JOSM meckert nur das übflüssige area=yes an, das steckt implizit schon in landuse.

I've noticed this area because there are lots of overlapping landuse=residential areas.
It seems that you have mapped buildings with this tag?
I also wonder if the position is correct, the sat images show an offset of ~35 m.
Some roads like way/472374801
seem to be very differnt from the sat images. Also, this way way/477212904 doesn't look like a service area. I assume you meant highway=service ?
Before you use a sat image as background please make sure to correct the offset in JOSM using GPS or Strava layers.

aufgefallen, der wohl eigentlich ein highway=service sein sollte. Allerdings frage ich mich, ob die Zufahrt nicht viel eher durch den Parkplatz führen sollte.

Bitte verwende nicht highway=traffic_island
für Verkehrsinseln. Das tag name=Verkehrsinsel macht auch keinen Sinn hier.
Üblich sind traffic_calming=island oder
landuse=traffic_island, je nachdem, ob da Fußgänger drüberlaufen oder nicht.
Ebenfalls denkbar: highway=crossing + crossing=island (aber nicht an den Flächen)
