To quote woodpeck from the DWG:
"While we would normally look at who controls an area (rather than who has legal jurisdiction), there's also the rule that we don't map day-to-day changes in an ongoing conflict. Any alterations to borders or installation of military zones etc. should wait until the war is over."

With that comment in mind, I think you (and everyone) should refrain from mapping military features in and around Gaza until the war there is over.

I appreciate the sentiment, but OpenStreetMap is not the right place to share the latest updates on active conflict zones. I recommend that you build and share your own map with that data and use OSM as a background layer.

Hi. Please don't map railways where they no longer exist. To map historic/removed railways you can go to OpenHistoricalMap instead of OpenStreetMap.

I removed this and your other military areas in Gaza from the map. Twitter is not a reliable source for OSM mapping and it's bad practice to map huge parts of a country or region as a military area without proper verification that the areas in question are actually military areas.

Gaza is not like Cyprus or Korea where there is a clearly marked DMZ all along the border.

Vandalising the map out of spite is a quick way to attract the attention of the DWG. You would do well to change your workflow and to follow SomeoneElse's advice.

I don't care about Spaghetti Monster's claims, or how many of these exactly you left. I'm just politely requesting that you leave the supporting pieces out of your uploads, and nothing more than that. I hope that's within reason.
