That's not how that works. Putting stop nodes at the stop lines is an improvement in all situations, regardless of how many ways cross at an intersection.

In that case GSE is just the name of the company and not specifically of the site, so operator=GSE (or GSE Italia) would be a more suitable tag.

I gave up on that concept. Anyway, we have good review tools like better-osm-org, OSMcha and OSM changeset visualiser, so this shouldn't be much of a problem.

I also discussed this already with the broader community on the forum and people seemed to approve of it, so if you have something to add to that discussion, please do.

So the information is not redundant. I never said that. I said that explicit tags are redundant, because the information is already in the data.

You can take the length from the length of the OSM way. If this doesn't match with the signed length, then either the sign or the OSM data is incorrect.

The length of a road section is indicated by the length of the way. There is no indication in the data or in the documentation that this has anything to do with signage.
