Hello. Thanks for mapping here.
A remark.
Please square all buildings (rectangular) with the Q key in the editor
Most buildings are good rectangular and the mappings should reflect that.
A hand drawn building is mostly not correct squared. Therefore use the Q key after calling it a building and the object is still selected.
Be aware that this will not work when the deviation to a square corner is to big. Then you have to adjust the building manually . After that you can square it again.

Another issue is the collecting of multiple buildings and map them as 1 building. This is not the correct way to map buildings.
Please map each building individually and be aware to not include the shadow of that building in your mapping.

Never let a node of a building connect to other features, like highways, other buildings or residential areas
Let highways never cross buildings as well.
Navigation systems cannot handle these situations

Please pay also attention on the issue triangle on the right-hand menu
It alerts you on warnings and errors.
Please (try to)solve these before uploading your work.

Best regards

Hello Mr Doden
Thanks for mapping here
Please pay more attention on accurate and squared mappings.
All buildings are not good squared.
Please use the Q key at every building to square it. Freehanded square mapping is very hard.
Best regards and keep mapping

Hello Mr Jones.
Thanks for mapping here
Please pay more attention on squaring the buildings you map.
Square each building with the Q key,
Thanks and keep mapping

Hi Smunk 16
In addition to my remark on the other changeset I checked this as well
I presume this was a validating task as well isn't it?
Sorry to say but this is far from complete
See this report.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1p2MgqUdFxBcrnqUreks-6XdIsC8AIQLD/view?usp=sharing
This task needs another check to solve the issues.
Can you handle that?
Best regards

Hi,
See my remark on my PM to you.
I was curious to see of JOSM shows more issues after you finished this changeset
See this image
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IwOgqQo2hp3DpYVvoY4kDnJsEIcktIX_/view?usp=sharing
Also an overlapped building was shown
Another issue
Access to buildings/farms should be tagged as unclassified, service, or path
Track should be used for access to farmland, woods, etc
This is not criticizing you, all I wanted to do is to show you the way JOSM shows them.
The coloured highways are also an option to give you the opportunity to see the kind of tagging in a glance

Hello. Thanks for mapping.

Validators check mappers’ work to see if they meet the requirements of the project, are complete and of a good quality.

A few pointers -
1) Most buildings are square so your mapping should reflect that, please remember to square your buildings by pressing the q key while the building is selected.

2) Please outline the buildings as closely as possible to the actual shape and try not to include the shadows of the buildings.

3) Map each building separately.

4) Avoid connecting nodes of buildings connecting to other buildings or features, like roads. Also don't let buildings overlap each other.
5) Grass mappings are not required for this project. Please keep yourself to the goal of this project
6) Tag buildings always as building=Yes

Best regards

Hello.
First of all, thank you so much for mapping on this project
Why this message? A team of validators review mappings to check if the mappings are according to the instructions and are free of errors,
## In general, your mappings are a bit below the quality standard HOTOSM stands for.
Your mappings are rather inaccurate, not squared and incomplete

* An advice, please map as accurate as possible, with corners, porches etc. Zoom in as close as possible.

We hope that this information is helpful to improve the quality of your mappings.

Thank you for helping the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT).

*****HINTS & TIPS *****
* Sometimes, the project the TM manager imagery is very vague and bad to map from.
Use another Imagery like Maxar P imagery.

It is the most recent and shows more details where you can map from. Align it with the TM imagery (correct offset) and map all objects you can see. Then switch back to the TM Imagery and map the rest (mostly newer build or expanded buildings).
* Don't cluster a group of buildings by making it 1 building
* Always square your building (use the Q key in ID editor) except round huts and curved walls of course
* Don't connect buildings with nodes to highways (which is an error, roads do not go through buildings).
* Avoid connecting nodes of buildings to each other. (They mostly do not share walls).

* If you are new to HOTOSM, this webpage is worth reading
@bgirardot/diary/36235
For the Tanzania projects these are very helpful as well

* Searching for and identifying of buildings is sometimes difficult. When you are mapping, switch on and off OSM data layer (shortcut ‘W’”) and zoom in and out as far as possible (Check which Image you can use) so you are sure not to overlook buildings, (often partly hidden under trees)

* Please take a look to these pages.

http://learnosm.org/en/hot-tips/tracing-rectangular-buildings/

https://learnosm.org/en/hot-tips/

* Check the Offset of the image you use. See instructions on TM3 to see how to do that

* If necessary, try to zoom in further. When you see white spots on your image, zoom out till the object are visible as well, or try another image. When working in JOSM, switch off the automatic zoom. (Right mouse button, check auto zoom off)

* When mapping buildings partly hidden by trees do not follow the outlines of a tree but extrapolate the building picture. Often there is a shadow on the ground near a building. Don' include these in your mapping.

I noticed that you mapped a number of buildings at the edge of your square just alongside the edge. Please map the building complete as (mostly) a rectangular building

Please map each building individually and be aware to not include the shadow of that building in your mapping.

Hello. Thanks for mapping
A few remarks.
Please try to map more accurate. do not include the shadow of the building in your mapping. Square each building with the Q key in the Ideditor.
Do not connect nodes of buildings to highways etc.
Sometimes you tag a courtyard as a building. They miss a roof and mostly there are 2 walls with shadow visible. No need to map them
Don't use the tag 'road' for highways. Too generic.
See this wiki how to tag highways
osm.wiki/Highway_Tag_Africa
Residential tagging is for more urban areas. This is rural area
See linked picture
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JbvuFGh3ZoLdJGSoFUNn_cv7WaBY-cem/view?usp=sharing

Please don't ignore warnings of the issue triangle and solve those before uploading your work

Best regard and keep mapping

Hello/. Thanks for mapping her
A remark. You mapped a piece of road in the jungle of 500 mtr and called it a Primary Highway. This road has only a regional function. Unclassified was a better tagging.
And.... connect always the roads to each other,
Please keep also an eye on the issue triangle and solve the issues before uploading to OSM

Hello. Thanks for mapping.
I cam across your mappings on this location.
You mapped the trace of a small river and tagged it as a tertiary highway !.
This trace was already mapped and tagged as a river.
Please make the correct decisions in recognizing traces like this.
I remove these mappings.
Best regards and keep mapping

Hello, Thanks for mapping here
A remark. Please map more accurate. Your mappings are not squared and sloppy
Please don't connect nodes of roads to the buildings either.
Best regards
