| 87405873 | Hello. Thanks for mapping here.
Another issue is the collecting of multiple buildings and map them as 1 building. This is not the correct way to map buildings.
Never let a node of a building connect to other features, like highways, other buildings or residential areas
Please pay also attention on the issue triangle on the right-hand menu
Best regards |

| 84796530 | Hello. Thanks for mapping. Validators check mappers’ work to see if they meet the requirements of the project, are complete and of a good quality. A few pointers -
2) Please outline the buildings as closely as possible to the actual shape and try not to include the shadows of the buildings. 3) Map each building separately. 4) Avoid connecting nodes of buildings connecting to other buildings or features, like roads. Also don't let buildings overlap each other.
Best regards |

* An advice, please map as accurate as possible, with corners, porches etc. Zoom in as close as possible. We hope that this information is helpful to improve the quality of your mappings. Thank you for helping the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT). Frans S *****HINTS & TIPS *****
It is the most recent and shows more details where you can map from. Align it with the TM imagery (correct offset) and map all objects you can see. Then switch back to the TM Imagery and map the rest (mostly newer build or expanded buildings).
* If you are new to HOTOSM, this webpage is worth reading
Please see here for new mapping instructions

* Searching for and identifying of buildings is sometimes difficult. When you are mapping, switch on and off OSM data layer (shortcut ‘W’”) and zoom in and out as far as possible (Check which Image you can use) so you are sure not to overlook buildings, (often partly hidden under trees) * Please take a look to these pages. http://learnosm.org/en/hot-tips/tracing-rectangular-buildings/ https://learnosm.org/en/hot-tips/ * Check the Offset of the image you use. See instructions on TM3 to see how to do that * If necessary, try to zoom in further. When you see white spots on your image, zoom out till the object are visible as well, or try another image. When working in JOSM, switch off the automatic zoom. (Right mouse button, check auto zoom off) * When mapping buildings partly hidden by trees do not follow the outlines of a tree but extrapolate the building picture. Often there is a shadow on the ground near a building. Don' include these in your mapping.
