Don't you have the building tool plugin not installed ? With that tool you map nice squared or rounded buildings which are tagged as building=yes

A remark about the way a large building need to be mapped.
Just map over the roofline and move the whole to the footprint.

Please take a look at this video how you have to map a high building.
First imagery = Esri, second = Bing witch shows more sidewall.
Just map the rooflines and move the whole mapping to the footprint.

Please use the correct imagery ( ** UPDATE 2025-04-02** This HOT Task now uses 2025-03-31 (new post-earthquake) imagery) made available by Maxar Open Data Progam for the central and southern part of this project. If your task square is in the norther part (for where no new imagery is available, please use ESRI imagery (you might have to add it manually) or switch to a task in the central and southern part.

Your mappings here are very basic. Just a (large) rectangular around a complex building. Please follow the rooflines and where trees cover it, just extrapolate the roofline.
Another building is mapped way to big.

Thanks for mapping. Please square each rectangular building with the Q key. You mapped 1 odd shaped building. Partly covered by trees.
Just try to extrapolate the roofline.
Check also existing mappings. If they don't comply with the current situation, adjust them then.

Please follow the rooflines rather than just drawing a rectangular.
High rise buildings ( you will see a long shadow and the sidewall of a building) need to be mapped over the roofline and moved to its footprint.
