Thanks. I appreciated this comment and tried to stop using the "Name" field in the way you described. I make updates via Organic Maps, which limits the types of fields that one is allowed to enter. The upshot is that it can provide exact geo-coordinates. If you can recommend a better app for updating open street maps, I'm all ears (though, very slow to respond, unfortunately). Thanks!

Hello. Thanks for the helpful info. Unfortunately, details like you list don't appear to be possible to add from the organic maps app. So, we should update these additions to, for example, put the extra info into the descriptions tag and not the name.

I don't know why all these added at once just now. On my phone I made these updates over a period of months, and they should have been getting added to OSM as we went. My intention at the time was in fact to add this info to OSM, not "personal bookmarks"

Now I'm back from traveling and busy with work so I don't have time to edit these things. And, a previous bad experience made me want to stop contributing to OSM. Hopefully someone else can edit so some of this work ends up being useful to future travelers instead of lost because just because it came from organic maps.

I went to this place and there's literally nothing there. Yes, in the area there are bones, but at this spot there's nothing. I think this should be deleted.

I will no longer waste my time providing free labor to this website. The right solution here would have been to move the information I provided (i.e., the actual prices, which sure could be useful to a traveler) to the correct spot, rather than delete the contribution.
