Oui, c'est le polygone du terrain. C'est souvent le cas pour les écoles et les hôpitaux de nommer le lieu sur le polygone complet. Ça peut aussi être un multipolygone dans certains cas.

J'ai ajouté l'entrée principale. Par contre, ce point créait un duplicat avec l'amenity hospital déjà défini par le polygone, que j'ai retiré.

OK, thanks for the info. However, the fact that the crossing is unsafe is information that should be added to another layer outside of openstreetmap. In Quebec, it is legal to cross the street at any intersection, except where there is a forbidden sign for pedestrian, which is very rare and not the case here. Thanks and have a nice day!

Par contre, dans le wiki OSM pour le tag maxspeed, on dit ceci:

"The maximum fixed numeric speed limit, followed by the appropriate unit, if not measured in km/h. When the value is in km/h then no unit should be included."

Donc pour les prochaines, juste mettre le nombre sans unité.

The main issue is that almost nobody will cross the street twice if they arrive on the opposite side, so we feel it better model the real paths of pedestrian. And a routing engine that will tell you to cross the street twice instead of once would feel weird too for the end-user. In places like Japan, this would be quite different (people will cross mostly at marked crosswalk and accept more detours).

In Quebec, it is legal to cross the street at any intersection, on either side, except when there is a no-pedestrian sign at the intersection, which is rare and not present at this intersection. For this reason, please keep the unmarked crossings so routing can follow the law. The fact that it could be dangerous or difficult to cross at some periods of the day should be the responsibility of tools external to OSM. I have put back the crossing. Thanks and have a nice day!

Hi! Can you confirm there is a signprohibiting pedestrian here? I did not see any sign recently. Also, prohibiting foot traffic here would make the buildings on Boulevard du Plateau-Saint-Josrph inaccessible for routing.

But after verification, it looks quite fine, so it seems you used the correct offset :-)

Please note that Bing maps from 2020 needs an offset of 0.6,-1.54. See osm.wiki/Montr%C3%A9al#Bing_Maps_Offset
