I have seen that you have added a large amount of peaks in this area, but not all seem to be correct. This looks more like some export from a digital elevation model. I have looked at Brazilian Army TopoMaps and a lot of peaks are present, but can you confirm where the are others coming from?

Thanks for the info. I have checked Bing; Mapbox Satellite; Esri World Imagery (Clarity) Beta; Esri World Imagery and I am confident that these roads exist. Is there any issue or this is just info about Bing imagery? It shows that images were captured between 1/17/2014-10/29/2021 but on the north imagery is from before 2003.

For the example I have mentioned, there are 2 tags that you have removed:
wikidata=Q5728123
wikipedia=es:Banco Bicentenario del Pueblo

I think I can see where the issue is: Working in ID editor, you can not change the name, so you need to delete these 2 tags so you can enable editing of the name. Please do not do that, just expand Tags and then correct the tag you need, in that way you will not remove Wikipedia and Wikidata tags

I have found out that you have removed Wikipedia links in New Zealand also, even if they were in English, the official language, so please do not remove Wikipedia tags, they are here for a reason, if you want you can replace the English version with the local language version, but if there is no local version, leave English or whatever one is added.

Can you be more specific? I have removed coastline tag because it was wringly used. Please read this osm.wiki/Coastline

I was not using Wiki, I have been using OS OpenMap Local, Mapillary, and what is already with the operator tag of the University of Leicester. I will go over their website to check what is wrong.

thanks for your comment and interest in this topic. Yes, I have been involved in discussions about creating relations with the universities in the UK on a couple of channels.

The community was against changing current tagging since many universities are using OSM for their website maps. There are some examples across the globe proposed, but the final was do not change already tagged entities.

No one objected to the idea of creating type=site relations since for some universities, you will find a lot of buildings, land, and accommodation operated by a certain university, and they are not of the same type.

The main thing for creating these relations is to make these universities visible and easily searchable on OSM. The operator tag is not searchable in the current search box, you will need to have overpass knowledge for this, and even then you will not have all things in one place. This was the first thing done, adding an operator tag based on the uni website, but it turned out to be a time-consuming job, a lot of things were not tagged, and if someone removes the tag, you will not have a result in a query. A lot of unexperienced mappers delete tags on ID editor, but if you have a relation, that is way difficult to remove so it gives the extra safety that the university will be found at the end.

Another thing is that you can put variant names on just one relation and that will cover the search in different languages. Germany has a lot of relations to fix similar issues.

After creating the relation I would like to improve geometries, one by one University at the time, add variant names and probably create a MapRoullete task across other communities to name them on their languages. Also, there is a tagging schema that is still under proposal, but I do not see that it will not be approved and then it will be way easier to add just member type and everything will be in line.

But yes, it was discussed on Loomio and talk-gb, also some emails were exchanged with OSMUK board. I have also received some positive feedback for some users, but I also appreciate your concern.

are you sure that D41 should be upgraded to a motorway and why because I can not find any document or news that confirms this. Only A1 is a motorway, from Airport to Fort. Can you provide more info about this or maybe think about reverting this back to trunk
