cool, thanks for confirming! just wanted to check, since this tag combination is usually a mistake
yeah I wasn't sure either, was wondering if you had any insight. for this one in Tekapo I tagged it as 'stockyard' but it also didn't feel right way/387478315

seems like the signs use a different name (osm.wiki/File:Waimarino_National_Park_Railway_Station_2023.jpg) , should we use alt_name instead of official_name to stop these back-and-forth edits?
nice work! should we tag the whole area as farmyard=stockyard ? not sure if that tag applies
Hi, bicycle=destination means that you can only cycle here if you're final destination is within this block of streets. i.e., you can't use these roads as a shortcut. See access=destination just confirming that this is what you intended? it seems quite unusual, i've never seen such a sign in NZ

thanks :)
Hi, does this business really have two diferent shops less than 200m apart?
Hi, thanks for your edits, I suggest you change your language from en-US to en-NZ (go to osm.org/preferences/advanced ) to avoid linguistic confusion about 'footpath' vs 'sidewalk'. Paths alongside roads should use the preset called 'sidewalk'
I think you should start a discussion on the forum about this (https://c.osm.org ), currently in NZ, the start point for motorways uses the point where grade separation starts, not where the official sign is. Whether this is a good idea, I'm not sure. so it would be good to start a discussion on the forum and then be consistent nation-wide
Hi, can you please explain the reason behind these changes?
thanks, also fixed this one
i don't remember sorry. i've tidied and split the overlapping bush area, so this node is now an area. feel free to further refine it :)
thanks for letting me know, fixed now
Hi, this is unlikely to solve the problem. It would be better to raise this issue with the developers of OsmAnd over at https://github.com/osmandapp/OsmAnd
Hi, please don't add layer=-1 just to silence the validator warnings. The correct solution is to fix the overlapping building and road. You can do this very quickly in the editor by selecting the building and pressing `M` on your keyboard

sure, updated
| 154299658 | I was trying to indicate that there is a public water hose attached to this tap - like this thing: https://google.com.au/images?q=garden+water+hose is there a better tag?
sorry for the huge changeset, I accidentally backspace'd 1 digit from a node ID in Level0, causing way/645444749 to reference node/606740210 instead of node/6067402109, which is on the other side of the planet 🤦🤦
Hi, adding layer=1 or -1 is not the correct way to solve the "crossing paths" error. instead, you should join the sidewalks and crossings together. Otherwise the lines are useless for routing/navigation software
Hi, what's your source for this edit? this seems like someone's personal house, not a business. The address is also not on their website. Therefore, you're possibly leaking private information onto the internet. please also see changeset/171389921
