Hi, if you're going to merge address nodes with buildings, it's much more efficient to hold down `Shift`, then click on the node & the building, and then press `C` on your keyboard

This also prevents existing tags from being deleted

this was also discussed in note/3518823 , it's now fixed

Hi, it seems like you've created a traffic signal here, which I assume is unintentional. Perhaps you could explain a bit more about about what you're trying to change?

157705336

sorry about that..... thanks @fortera_au for fixing it already, I'll try to be more careful in the future 🙊

the new west auckland imagery is a bit offset and certainly lower resolution, so "LINZ NZ Aerial Imagery" is still the best source for aligning features. and I think bing is somewhere inbetween those two

156973761

last week LINZ released new aerial imagery for West Auckland and Central Auckland :) but it may take several months before these layers are available in the official version of the iD editor

Hi, you may want to checkout the 2024 aerial imagery, some of the buildings you mapped have been demolished and there is a new access road here: https://kyle.kiwi/iD/#background=LINZ_Auckland_West_2024&map=19.60/-36.78436/174.62203

done, relation/15058659 now includes this island too

thanks for the info, I've marked the shop as closed

156349905

should be fixed now, not sure how this edit affected the stop order

Hi, please don't ignore validator warnings, there are a huge number of issues that now need to be fixed...

hey, it's quite hard to tell from the aerial imagery, but I suspect there's a pipe or culvert under the track. If that were the case, then this would be the most appropriate option to click: https://0x0.st/Xw_M.png - but note that it only appears if you select the stream, not the road

there's an example here: osm.org/edit#map=22/-40.7846937/175.0968324

hey, thanks for fixing all these access problems!

In cases where there is no trace of the ostensibly 'public' road, another option is to change the tags to `highway=proposed` + `proposed=paper_road`.

This indicates that it's an 'unformed legal road', i.e. that there is no road here in reality

sounds good, thanks for updating it

hey, the bus stops on the offramp are still there, I accidentally walked the wrong way and noticed the bus bay. However, as you mentioned, theyre no longer used by public busses. But any vehicle could still stop here. So maybe disused:highway=bus_stop is better?

155537275

hey, if not construction, how would you tag this? https://0x0.st/XtHN.jpg

152107545

oops, sorry about that, thanks for sorting it out...

152107545

based on that timetable it seems like they only operate between Patonga and Palm Beach, which I haven't changed

The section I removed was way/255733718 , there's nothing but water taxis here right?

155505411

cool idea :) I'll reply on the discord

155322826

all good, it's fixed now
