Hey, in OSM a "bicycle route" is meant to be for long distance signposted routes, rather than a single path or road. check out route=bicycle for more info.

Maybe what you're looking for is `bicycle=yes`, which tells software that bikes are allowed on this path?

thanks, railway:signal:speed_limit_distant is exactly what i was looking for. I've upated the note and removed `maxspeed:ahead`

140714378

Hey, sorry I'm not that familiar with tagging railway signs. There is a speed limit sign here (40km/h) and below it is a "90km/h ahead" sign. The equivilant road sign would be osm.wiki/File:MUTCD_W3-5.svg or osm.wiki/File:MUTCD_W3-5A.svg So should we use `maxspeed:advisory` here instead of `maxspeed:ahead`?

Hi, what source did you use for this edit? On mapillary imagery, the speed limit is 80km/h: https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=273663704494371&focus=photo

I belive the speed limit was changed 5 years ago. See https://nzta.govt.nz/projects/sh60-speed-limit-consultation

i can confirm that the signage at the airport uses the 4-digit codes: https://westnordost.de/p/172643.jpg

140517399

Hi, the speed limit is not 99 km/h here...

137225548

Hi, this edit is also not correct

140827097

Hi, I don't think this edit is correct. See https://www.nzherald.co.nz/rotorua-daily-post/news/new-speed-limits-set-for-state-highway-30-tikitere-to-whakatane/PL6GBKLCZNBQFALLYHHK2BBYLI/

you also appear to have changed the road name instead of the speed limit

118448900

Hey, I suspect you're correct. However I'm not a local, in this changeset I just added the tag `service=busway` to the existing roads

139960565

oh no need to revert, any extra detail is more than welcome! sorry , i assumed you were trying to fix an existing routing issue at that intersectionn

139960565

hey, this turn restriction is already modelled correctly in OSM, see relation/14423165 and relation/14423164

maybe the software that you're using doesn't understand `except=bicycle` ?

131864928

here's the photo that wouldn't upload earlier - its certainly a bit weird: https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD/assets/16009897/f8fe5d90-11b9-47e8-bb07-d1d875b5c02f

131864928

oh cool let's remove the tags then. AT actually installed bike stands a few months ago in the middle of the 🚳 area which also suggests these signs aren't particularly relevant

139779707

sorry I don't fully understand your question. In this changeset, I added one node which used to have a rather disrepectful name: node/11109206661

I have used the tags `noname=yes` + `old_name=`. If there's a better way of tagging this feature i'm more than happy to change it

139166671

hi, what do you mean by 'Fixed name'? every sign i saw says Te Komititanga. you might want to look at https://progressakl.co.nz/projects/te-komititanga , it is a new public plaza

139109047

hi, the website of this business does not exist. do you have another source for this edit? for example, is there a sign on the road, or does this business have a telephone number or a facebook page? thanks

120526416

oops that must have been a copy-paste error. its fixed now, thanks!

131724066

sounds good, i had falsy assumed it was an established place (like Lone Pine Estate) given how well known it is

138051053

not sure if i've used the right tags for the turrets at the prison...

137686016

hey, sorry for the delayed reply. I had a brief look at this maproulette challenge, and it seems like every single "missing highway" in the maproulette is actually a private driveway or farm track.

so this is probably a useful challenge, but i would suggest to tag everything as a driveway by default unless it's clear that it is a public road
