B 503: vierspurigen Streckenabschnitt in "trunk" geändert.

Hi,
Im now editing and mapping out more of Mount Doug park in Victoria, BC
.. I saw note on the user diries about there being a rule of only a max number of 16 relations aloud for a bus route. .. i dont think that applies to what im doing. However, it might. .. i think the answer was to have the point list all the bus stops and the point which is part of the route show the list with a comma after each bus.
Im also working on uploading data from my trip last year .. but only a few files at a time, to not be overloading the servers.
Hello,
I've started trying out mapping some bus routes in Brisbane from Chermside, through the Gympie Road corridor south through Kedron and Lutwyche.
The Potlatch support for relations worked very well except for one thing: It seems you can't display more than 16 attributes of a way at one time - including what relations it belongs to. This is a bit of a problem when a way has many bus routes!
Is there anything I'm missing? or should I just fire up JOSM for the tough bits?
Did some more surveying in Paddington recently.

Programas necesarios:
JOSM (plugin utilsplugins)
viking
1. VIKING. Abrir la traza gpx con viking
2. Añadir New map layer, mapnik, alpha 125, autodownload
7. Seleccionar la capa troceada y darle a convert to data layer
8. Seleccionar las vías generadas y darle a simplify way

This is my workflow to handle my gpx traces when new roads are created.
Programs needed:
JOSM (plugin utilsplugins)
viking
1. VIKING. Open the gpx trace using viking
2. Add New map layer, mapnik, alpha 125, autodownload
3. In the empty places, with no map data down, "edit trackpoint" and "split here"
4. Delete the tracks in locations already mapped
5. When done, select the TrackPoint layer and export as gpx
6. JOSM. Open josm with the original trace and the splited one
7. Select the viking trace and "convert to data layer"
8. Select all the generated ways and "simplify way"
9. Download data from osm and tag properly.
Suggestions wellcome
I have uploaded my Limerick talk, 'CartoType & OpenStreetMap' to SlideShare, under that name, with obvious tags including SOTM and OpenStreetMap.

I have already uploaded the traces from my recent trip, near 150k new points, also i have started to edit some of the traces. Easy part is to add new roads and the tricky part is to tag the big mess of geo referenced pics i have take, specially the motorway_junctions
Also im very happy because i have updated a big chunck of the very new highway A-206, formerly the old primary CL-206
Hi there,
let's bring the world up to date with my activities. After the weekend I didn't have too much time for mapping. Nevertheless I did some things: First I extended the coverage of tracks around the A66 near Weilbach/Hattersheim. Then I worked on my render rules for KOSMOS and came up with a first version that I published in the category:KOSMOS. And most important, I pimped my notebook. 512MB RAM is definately not enough. Unfortunately it was only possible to add another 512MB. I would have liked a total of 2GB... And because HDs are not too expensive anymore I also replaced the 60GB with a 250GB disk. So now I can do some work. The RAM significantly improves the runtime of KOSMOS operation. What earlier took 15min now takes less than 5min. No more swapping/trashing.
Bye

I removed streets in my area that I know do not exsist. Would be nice if there was an option for Hiking Trails.
So I show the OSM website to someone at work today, and their first response is "my street isn't on the map"
This is weird - the person lives in Bedford which is within range of at least 2 OSM mappers. So what went wrong?
Well it turns out that they live in an estate that was still a muddy construction site just 2 years ago when the area was last surveyed. Since then it's become a housing estate with loads of dodgy modern houses in various stages of construction.
So I went to visit and made a map of the area. But watch out -- something which is a cornfield one day may be someone's house the next day, and if you only visit the place once you might miss it...
(use osmarender layer to see latest maps, while mapnik is still showing old maps)
Uploaded my notebook scribblings from the OSM conference:
http://openstreetbugs.appspot.com/?lon=8.75247152120973&lat=50.189908352404466&z=14
Deutzer Stadtpark,
Köln-Poll fehleden Straße beim,
Niederkassel, Kranichstraße
OK, so wandered around Temple Bar area of Dublin at the weekend, just need to add those to the map now. I got a bunch of Irish-language street names -- is there any name:ga=... renderer that will display them yet?
As I am an active geocacher, I am currently mapping forest trails (footways, bridleways) everywhere I go caching (mostly somewhere around my home). I think that is a useful improvement to the many roads that do already exist in OSM in this area.
I can't figure out why some mappers mark those way as "track", while it can easily be classified as "bridleway" or "footway" - not sure whether I should change that if I find clear hints on the official type of way ...

Dabei zwei Hasen/Kaninchen gesehen (lebendig ;-)...
Tried my first upload from OSM with pathes collected while running through the Westfalen-Park...
Hello,
I renamed some misspelled ways and added a few missing names in Sasel/Hamburg/Germany.
Hallo,

Servus!
