While making a few minor improvements, I discovered that a number of nodes of a certain way has been shifted, causing 'spaghetti'. One of them is
osm.org/api/0.5/node/26161165/history
I managed to get it more or less back into the same place.

A search with JOSM (string 'user:Justy') revealed this user also reversed the direction of a oneway :
osm.org/api/0.5/way/4318566/history

I guess at some point I must grep the whole planet for this user name and then go through the tedious task to see if he made more mistakes. (I don't feel like messaging him...)

Getting proper history functionality will be difficult to implement. See

Sandbach in Cheshire - along with it's satellite villages Wheelock, Ettiley Heath, Elworth and Malkins Bank - should all now be complete to public road level. Didn't take as long as I was anticipating - completed over the past couple of weekends. Just need to finish tagging up some POI - and there are a few footpaths that I need to revisit. Another step on the road towards completion of the new Cheshire East council area to complement Chris Morley's work in the Cheshire West area.

I've just completed a mega edit session from my two days in the blistering heat that was the Durham Mapping Party last weekend. Awesome mapping and some great real ale at £1.50 a pint at the end of the first day, doesn't get much better than that! While the others, who were on foot, focussed on Durham itself I headed out both days with the bike to the east of the A1(M) managing to complete the following villages and hamlets in the two days (in order of doing them): Saturday - Belmont, Shadforth and Carrville. Sunday - Ludworth, Haswell Plough, Haswell, Sherburn Hill, Sherburn and High Shincliffe. Some of NCN route 14 also got added, as well as some tidying up on the way in and out of Durham. Stopped overnight on Saturday at a very pleasant small camp/caravan site just of the A181, Strawberry Fields. Thanks to Gregory (Living with Dragons) for setting it up and getting everyone organised. I took the train down to Arundel on Sunday, which was a bright sunny and very warm day [25C]; as usual the train was late ;-). The purpose of the trip was to break in a new pair of boots, geocaching and some mapping too.

Once I arrived at Arundel station I proceeded to walk up through the town, past the castle, and down to the A27 roundabout before taking the first available footpath heading up towards Tortington Common. It was very muddy there; almost swampy in places. Once there I carried on through Binsted and Paine's Woods, before walking down to Goose Green and back to the station again, via Binsted Woods and Tortington Common once more. Parts of Binsted Wood were also very boggy and swampy in places. I managed to map many of the footpaths/bridleways in the area and plan to go back in the next 2-4 weeks and map other footpaths/tracks in the woods between Madehurst and the top of Arundel itself.

As usual there was lots of wildlife about; deer, rabbits, foxes, pheasents, lots of other more common birds too and some rather less common ones too such as yellowhammers and buntings. Didn't see too many people, although there were some youths camping in the far end of Binsted Wood.

Other walkers using this area should be aware that there are ticks about; found two wandering on my hands and arms, luckily I managed to remove them before they attached themselves to me. No I'm not squeamish, I just don't fancy Lyme Disease. Also, GPS reception is very patchy at times in these woods, even with a high sensitivity receiver such as a Garmin Etrex Legend Hcx. My other GPSr, a Garmin GPSmap 60c was losing lock very frequently.

The whole walk was 15 miles in all, oh and I managed to get some geocaching done too ;-)

After little break I have processed a little bit of my data...
Few additions in Wrocław (e.g. Nowy Dwór), few corrections (Galeria Dominikańska looks better now). I have also flushed remaining data about Bochnia. And, last but not least, I have used my data from trip to Bieszczady, to correct and add streets in Sanok.
