Note that the wiki
(ele=*?uselang=en#Local_units) says:
"It's tempting to enter an elevation with a unit of measure ("3045 feet") but the tag must be in metres"

Rounding to the nearest meter is usually done when converting elevations to meters.

It looks like in this edit you make changes to road 806.

If my analysis is correct, this created a T in the "Lower Galilee Trail" relation/3929958

In the future, please check the relations to which road segments belong before merging them.

I would therefore appreciate some caution before calling this revert "vandalism".

To your points:

According to
http://osm.mapki.com/history/node.php?id=278473683
The Arabic name for node/278473683 was introduced in changeset/97218168 and was therefore included in the revert.

Similarly for http://osm.mapki.com/history/relation.php?id=1379484

Reverting the 3 changesets was massive task. It was difficult enough to resolve the conflicts that were created since the edits were made. Performing selective reverts was not a practical option.
