Wrong account .. noticed 5 months later.

Why are you using hundreds of ways if you cound have used one?

108488439

Hello, you accidentially changed way/9386738 (a large street) to a driveway. I fixed it now.

115461391

Yes. Guess i missed 3 that have already been demolished, so i should revert or what?

"You are comfortable with defending your estimated error of 100 bad poi based on nothing but wishful thinking."
100 out of 30000. Is this really that bad?
"comfortable with shouldering the OSM community with correcting your erroneous data"
You know what else I'm comfortable with? That I took the task of manually adding (and possibly surveying) 30000 (or 29900) fire stations off the shoulders of the community.
"I assume you are not planning on informing the community that they now have 30,000 pois to check."
Oh, they don't just have those 30k POIs to review. They have to check the hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of POIs like stores etc. all the time.
"[...]Technically, that would bump up the number of erroneously imported pois to 100%." Please what?!? So you are seriously saying that every name is wrong? Then it shouldn't be problem to link me 20 or 200 or 2000 bad names.
"imported erroneous data against the wishes" No, all mentioned imports were "wishes of the community" (except landuse in Atlanta, not sure on that one).

"presenting your import to the community" I thought this only had to be done if it was something controversial, such as large scale landuses or unclear licenses. That there are a few data errors can never be avoided, whether with or without discussion. I have now posted this on slack. But what I will definitely not do is to revert this out of principle (Not following guidelines = You're reverted.).

So then we have 2 options:

a) I revert it: We may no longer have 10, 30 or - let's be pessimistic - 100 wrong stations. But the price would be 30000 missing stations, which then must be added manually.

b) I leave it as it is: We may have 30 or 100 wrong stations, but we have mapped (almost) all stations in the US.
I am obviously in favor of b). NOTHING that has ever been imported here is error-free. Absolutely nothing. TIGER, NHD, land use in Atlanta, GNIS (from early 2000s) - everything has errors - tons of errors. The few outdated fire departments are nothing compared to the other nonsense that has been imported everywhere and still needs countless hours of cleanup.
Thats my opinion on that.

not exactly an solar plant ...

Then feel free to delete them.

Hello, you created recently this firepit: node/9394833036
This looks like it's on private property (=no public access) so access=private should be added.

When you are adding culverts, you shouldn't tag them like you did at way/1018567502
A "pipeline" is a closed system that transports stuff (usually oil or gas) over longer distances. Culverts under roads should be tagged with
waterway=stream
and tunnel=yes.
See https://i.imgur.com/wqix5x5.png and https://i.imgur.com/TChUXpK.png for a screenshot of the editor if you dont know how to do it.
Otherwise thank you for your efforts, keep up the good work!

Wenn nicht schon geschehen, würde ich eine Privatnachricht (osm.org/message/new/Domme9991) senden, wird vielleicht eher gesehen.

Ouch, its not just "not great", its horrible.

Entfernt.

115029248

Why did you remove the name from way/578435601 ?

115360170

Deleted it. This can happen, nothing is perfect.

115363767

I removed all other duplications ->changeset/115366806

Wrong link, i meant changeset/115366806

115360162

It was the JOSM plugin. osm.wiki/JOSM/Plugins/Conflation
I just noticed that the range in which was searched for already existing fire stations was set too low. (30 meters) I have now run the whole thing again with 300 meters, about 1000 already existing stations were found, and I removed these in changeset/115360162 I have also manually checked numerous stations (at least more than 800) and found no more duplicates, so this should be fixed now.

source tag is "microsoft/BuildingFootprints" at the changeset

101517343

Should be fixed, i deleted the buildings entirely, because they were low quality anyway. Sorry for the late action & reply. Let me know if you find more bad buildings there.
