I suspect the mascot of Elk Mountain Elementary is "Elk" or "Elks" and not "Mooses".

My comment is merely reflecting on the fact that "ease of routing" isn't a reason to change things in OSM. If, following standard practice (local highway classification guide, map ground truth etc), you think those need to be changed, please feel free to change them.

Alas, we map things are they are (signed) and not as we wish they would be ("easy for routers").

Can you double check way/32534633? Maybe it should be Lyons with mascot:iconography=Lions ?

I made a small edit to one of these so it would show up on the mascot map. We may need to discuss how to handle english/non-english values better. We already have some french aliasing due to additions in Canada.

Nice. I added Bays as a synonym for Horse into the style file so it should get a nice icon now.
