Hi,

what is this stuff for? it is tagged like a county (type=boundary, boundary=administrative, admin_level=6), but it is no county.

now there are overlapping county areas - the real counties and this stuff,. that can't be true.

please change that to something else.

in short words: STOP THIS STUFF.
It is not correct to name streets like that.

Hi, bin mit eigentlich sicher, dass das stimmt - nur fahre ich bei der Saukälte nicht vorbei.

Ich mach mal 'ne Note, damit das nicht vergessen wird.

as i wrote: it was not possible for me.

btw: linking objects by using their osm_is is not recommended.

Hi Narid, yes you are right.

deleting objects to replace them by newer/better objects will destroi the history. and that is not good.

Yes, that is ok - but the AL7 in this area have been damaged. Because the new members have not been added to the old al7.

Hi Amin,

adding boundaries is fine - but you should not distroy other boundaries by your work.

please download the full area before adding boundaries. workink with uncomplete datasets will create a lot of trouble.

see https://wambachers-osm.website/index.php/10-osm-reports/1458-countries-compare-2018-12-31 for a list of damaged boundaries :(

two mappers spent more than 2 hours to fix that.

Hi Hornissen,

Hi Max,

i'm beware of census "boundaries" and usually i don't convert them to admin boundaries any more. may be i did something like that last year (2017) or earlier. can you give me an example? rel-id?

and yes, Mount Vernon is really strange. IIRC this area including Fort Belvoir was a mesh - overlapping, redundant and missing bounday segments everywhere. i was not able to fix that area - and i'm still not. Sorry for that.

Hi, I don't think, this boundary is ok - but i can't fix it :(

may be you can fix that?

good to know, thanks

65705031

sorry for that. has been restored.

but why are there two exact the same boundaries for Anadindeua?

One with AL8 relation/185610 and one with AL9 relation/6428391? I think, one of then has to go.

Hi, das war leider nix mit "korrigiert". Du hast die Grenze von Lage(9) gelöscht. Ist sicher ein Flüchtigkeitsfehler, schau also bitte nochmal drüber

Gruss
