| 451293 | Northbound toll plaza has now been removed, following the introduction of Dart Charge remote payment scheme. Large scale re-alignment of the northbound carriageway has taken place here including: - New northbound 50MPH speed limit from Junction 1a through the Dartford Tunnels. - Removal of old toll booth plaza. - The northbound carriageway now 'splits' to align for each tunnel, much earlier than before. It splits at roughly the same location as where the Junction 1a northbound slip road joins the carriageway. |
