The number hasn't increased, but otherwise someone would have complained about removing info. The "service:vehicle" prefix has been introduced (undiscussed) by the ID admins and wasn't clarified unless several times mentioned (and noticed) on the mailing list. This circumstances were mentioned on the shop=car page, but removed by some individuals which seem to want to hold up clarification about that topic.
I assume that "wheels" means "rim", so that's something different to "tyres". I'd appreciate to get this topic further, so feel free to participate on the shop:car page discussion tab (I think "centrally" is better noticed by the majority than here)

That would be really nice, but unfortunately it doesn't work like this at all :
"Things have to be discussed to ensure a tagging scheme is logical and usable on the long run".
There should be a general decision about namespace usage instead of this "small nit-picky discussion". Also see the article excerpt here : osm.wiki/User:Rtfm#Structural_problems

Wenn ich nach einem Direkterzeuger suche, dann doch eher nach shop=farm. Und mehrere tags für denselben Hofladen macht ja auch keinen Sinn. Wie gesagt ist die Mehrheit eher Direkterzeuger. Also bitte Deine Logik ggf. auf diesen Wiki-Seiten ergänzen. Das bringt nichts, hier "nein-doch-nein" zu spielen.

Ein Beispiel aus o.g. Liste wäre www.hofladen-strasser.de. Klingt mir ziemlich klar nach shop=farm ?

Genau das ist öfters der Fall

Man könnte beispielweise shop=farm distinction hinzufügen, es gibt z.B. auch viele Klein-Brennereien (meist als shop=farm). shop=alcohol ist für mich doch eher einer, der ein breiteres Angebot bietet.

OSM discussions take around a decade, there are many "Blockwart" type guys around the wiki to avoid any progress. Which other way to tag this (disabled vehicles) would you recommend ? And which "imaginative tags" are you generally talking about ? Please also check the shop=car page and their history
