Lo siento, pero empiezo a pensar que están etiquetando para el renderizador y desgraciadamente esto no ayuda a nadie, véase la ruta de jcoupey. Yo mismo he conducido por la carretera y he podido ver claramente que hay dos carriles, uno en cada sentido, así que como se ha dicho 1+1=2, así que puedo decir que sé de lo que hablo, aunque no viva allí.
Cómo se te ocurrió el ejemplo de las autopistas no lo tengo nada claro y tu cálculo tampoco. Una autopista se traza por sentido y, en consecuencia, cada sentido tiene su propio número de carriles.
Tal vez te ayudaría echar un vistazo a la Wiki, como ya te he sugerido varias veces. Allí hay varios buenos ejemplos de cómo deben cartografiarse las autovías, como en este caso, y de lo que son las carreteras de un solo carril, como ahora está incorrectamente cartografiada la RD-7. osm.wiki/ES:Key:lanes

Porque ya estás preguntando hasta qué punto tu versión es perjudicial.
Muchos dispositivos de navegación también utilizan la información sobre el número de carriles y si, como en el caso que has mapeado, la RD-7 sólo tiene un carril, entonces esta ruta se ve muy penalizada en términos de tiempo porque este único carril tiene que ser compartido por ambas direcciones.

Acabo de darme cuenta de que Guvani ha vuelto a introducir los datos incorrectamente. ¿Hay alguna razón por la que hayas introducido los datos de forma diferente al resto del mundo?

También he conducido por la carretera y hay claramente 2 carriles. Uno en dirección norte y otro en dirección sur. ¡1+1=2 carriles! ¡También hay suficientes fotos mapillary disponibles donde se pueden ver los dos carriles! Por favor, ¡mira la documentación en la Wiki y no falsifiques los datos en OSM por culpa de programas defectuosos!

Sí, estoy de acuerdo contigo jcoupey, tiene que ser lanes=2. También entré a esto hace unos 3 años. Desafortunadamente, Guvani volvió a cambiar esto changeset/112923807. Estaría a favor de revertir el cambio de Guvani y volver a configurar el RD-7 en los lanes=2.

Hi, quite a long time ago ;-) I think there was a sign at the entrance to the center saying that cars with destination in the center were also allowed. Maybe it was only temporary and private is the more appropriate value.

Eine Gewichtsbeschränkung habe ich nicht gesehen auf den Fotos.
Ich vermute, da Anfang des Jahres die Beschränkungen entfernt wurden, dass dies an dem Teilstück vergessen wurde zu entfernen.

Der ursprüngliche Weg ist nicht von mir. Ich hatte damals nur die Tags angepasst. Auf den Mapillary Bildern kann auf die schnelle auch keinen Überweg erkennen und denke dass diese Stelle zum überqueren gefährlich ist. Du kannst es gerne umbauen.

Das Beispiel mit Wasserstraße und Flugplatz ist in dem Fall, wohl nicht ganz passend, aber ob eine Straße beleuchtet oder auf jeden Fall dunkel ist, könnte für eine Routenplanung schon interessant sein.
