Hi folks FYI - Phone numbers in Australia should be added to OSM according to the following format with the country code +61 x xxxx xxxx, (+61 xxx xxx xxx for mobiles) or use the phone:AU key if a 1300 or 1800 number as per the wiki guidelines osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines/Australian_features - I have just updated a recent addition that you made to OSM – Cheers

Thanks for editing those buildings to a better outline. You can also 'square' the corners of buildings using the Q key on your keyboard

Its best to edit existing buildings rather than delete and redraw - that way the history of the object is not lost.

No worries. Have fun mapping. I am also in the process of mapping Lauderdale… good imagery makes it so much easier. osm.org/#map=18/-42.89477/147.49780

Please swap to BING imagery - its much better in Hobart. Most of these buildings you will need to go back and realign to the better imagery

Please change to Bing Imagery as its so much better in Hobart. Lots of these buildings will need to be edited to align them with the best imagery.

Given how good the Bing imagery is for Hobart, it would be good if you could go back and edit the outlines of them to better match the actual buildings. Quality work is best in the long run.

To get the + symbol on a mobile device numeric keypad I reckon you will need to do a LONG press on the zero.

Welcome to ID Editor and OpenStreetMap. When adding buildings its best to try and make the outline as close to the building as possible. You can also 'square' the corners of the buildings by using the Q key on the keyboard after assigning the building tag. Have fun mapping!
