You can add them correctly on the advanced screen but I agree it takes longer and could be made easier.

Hi xillo - its best practice to try and square the corners of buildings where its obvious they are square. This helps to make a quality map. I think Vespucci has a menu item to make this easier - https://vespucci.io/help/en/Way%20selected/

Hi Frederick, Many of the Microsoft buildings are poorly aligned so its best practice to adjust them after importing. Some need rotation and others are just plain incorrect. With good imagery in this area it would be great if you align them better to the imagery. Cheers

Hi there and welcome to OSM. Its best practice to edit an existing rather than deleting something and redrawing a path. This maintains the history of edits over time. In this case your edit is also less detailed in some areas than the old path. I will do an edit to better reflect some of the old path. A good guide for new editors is also the Australian Guidelines at osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines

To get the + symbol on a mobile device numeric keypad you may need to do a LONG press on the zero.

Hi Folks - There has recently been an Aussie wide cleanup of addresses including numbers like 21,23 (both addr:housenumber and addr:unit). The norm is now 21-23 and I do a daily check to update them. Feel free to use a dash in preference to a comma (bit easier on some devices).
