Hi folks FYI - Phone numbers in Australia should be added to OSM according to the following format with the country code
+61 x xxxx xxxx, (+61 xxx xxx xxx for mobiles) or use the phone:AU key if a 1300 or 1800 number.
For freecall numbers that work whilst overseas (ie 13 13 13) use +61 XX XX XX
as per the wiki guidelines osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines/Australian_features - I have just updated a recent addition that you made to OSM – Cheers

To get the + symbol on a mobile device numeric keypad I reckon you will need to do a LONG press on the zero.

Hi folks, the underpass looks to be a bit further north than your location plus there are conflicting tags on bits of the underpass. Can bikes use the underpass? if so make the entire length a path with the required user tags rather than a footway.

Good to see more buildings being added. You can also be more specific in their use by tagging as detached house (if a standalone residence). You can also merge address nodes to the building by selecting both and using the C key in the ID editor.

I notice around the Gerringong Town Hall you add lots of pedestrian ways and some pedestrian areas. The area is tagged as surface=yes. Did you mean for this to be area=yes?

Hi Folks - I noticed some sections of pathway are listed with surface=yes - this is not a normal surface tag. Any chance you check the details?

Thanks for editing those buildings to a better outline. You can also 'square' the corners of buildings using the Q key on your keyboard

123540811

Its best to edit existing buildings rather than delete and redraw - that way the history of the object is not lost.

No worries. Have fun mapping. I am also in the process of mapping Lauderdale… good imagery makes it so much easier. osm.org/#map=18/-42.89477/147.49780

Please swap to BING imagery - its much better in Hobart. Most of these buildings you will need to go back and realign to the better imagery

123511726

Please change to Bing Imagery as its so much better in Hobart. Lots of these buildings will need to be edited to align them with the best imagery.

123476658

Given how good the Bing imagery is for Hobart, it would be good if you could go back and edit the outlines of them to better match the actual buildings. Quality work is best in the long run.
