Hi folks FYI - Phone numbers in Australia should be added to OSM according to the following format with the country and regional code +61 x xxxx xxxx, (+61 xxx xxx xxx for mobiles) or use the phone:AU key if a 1300 or 1800 number.
For freecall numbers that work whilst overseas (ie 13 13 13) use +61 XX XX XX as per the wiki guidelines osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines/Australian_features . Brackets are not required around any part of the phone number. I have just updated a recent addition that you made to OSM – Cheers

Hi folks - just to let you know that the unit numbers should be placed in the unit field (in ID editor). This keeps the unit number (addr:unit) separate from the actual house number (addr:housenumber). I have just update your recent addition. Cheers

PS - there is a process underway to correct this across Australia. About 10,000 to go in VIC!

To get the + symbol on a mobile device numeric keypad you may need to do a LONG press on the zero.

Hi folks - when adding addr:state its acceptable to use the abbreviated form such as QLD, NSW etc - all uppercase as per the Aussie wiki
osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines/Australian_features#Addresses

The whole country has recently been updated to this format

Cheers

Hi folks - generally a driveway into a house would be considered 'permissive' . This means that the owner allows access until refused. This allows for deliveries etc. If there is a sign specifically stating the driveway is Private or No Entry then it can be tagged as private. Cheers

Hi Callum and welcome to OSM. Its a good idea to edit the Microsoft Buildings as they were derived from older imagery so in many cases they are rotated or do not include the correct building outline. Its often faster just to draw them than add the preset ones and then reshape them. Cheers

Apologies - just noticed that you were just correcting Key values not adding the actual number. Cheers
