Current tagging of this gate makes it impassable for non-emergency-services pedestrians and cyclists - is that true? More likely it should be motor_vechicles=no; emergency=yes; foot=yes; bicycle=yes; OR separate foot/bike 'bypass' around the gate. But survey/local knowledge needed.
