Hi there and welcome to OSM. Where does rhe "street membership" make it look like the buildings are part of the street itself? Have you had a look at osm.wiki/Relation:associatedStreet ? In particular the "roles" section? Members of a relation can have a role,. Please have a look at the link.

If you've not used them already, you might enjoy - the FHRS JOSM plugin - https://github.com/kmpoppe/fhrsPlugin & https://osm.mathmos.net/addresses/pc-stats/ (which can identify 'missing' postcodes.)

Hi Eastender - just a question on this changeset and a few other similar ones you've made lately. What is the source of the postcode data you're adding? Are you extrapolating from the Code Point Open dataset (the one with centroids). Or have you found something better?

Sure is! I normally use it in residential areas to help with boundaries. But it's also excellent for aligning aerial images. It's the most accurate source of spatial data we have
