Changeset comments are used for explaining your changes. Unfortunately, "Friendswood Updates" really tells us nothing we didn't already know. The bounding box indicates "Friendswood", and the fact that you've submitted a changeset already says "updates". "Added apartment building details, car repair shop, trailers in trailer parks, credit union, parking lots" would have been much better.

I am happy to see new people contributing to OSM, especially in greater Houston, but we have had a big problem lately with useless changeset comments and it makes it much more difficult than it should be to follow what's being changed.

Please be more specific in your changeset comments. Obviously, something was changed (otherwise there wouldn't be a changeset) and the bounding box indicates Houston area. What exactly were you changing here and why?

A few months ago, I personally fixed previous vandalism to the Sugar Land city border from data provided by the City of Sugar Land itself.

Could you please describe the data source for your changes? Specifically, did this come from the City of Sugar Land or another official source more recent than what I was sent?

The description tag is not for advertising copy and has been removed.

The opening_hours tag has a specific syntax. I have reformatted the hours into this syntax.

I also cleaned up the address (was abbreviated when street names on OSM are spelled out) and phone number (should be in international format).

Especially when deleting a lot of stuff like this, it is important to use a specific changeset comment so others have a better idea what is going on. Why are these paths and service roads being deleted? What exactly is being "updated" at Brock Park?

This is the first time I have ever seen "Yankish" used as a term for US English. DuckDuckGo didn't return any useful results when I searched. Honestly, it's potentially confusing and may lead some to think you're talking about some other language entirely. "Yanks" or "Yankees" is also considered somewhat derogatory when used towards people in the south/southeastern US (and in that part of the country, is used to refer to people who came from "up north" (from about Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana, etc. on east).

Please use more descriptive changeset comments in the future. This comment, as entered, is almost useless.

Also, please save before changing areas. There is no reason to lump an edit in Paraguay (?) with edits in Texas, US.

I agree that this should have been split into two changesets. The bounding box encompasses the entire continental US without a single change anywhere within it, as well as a huge chunk of Africa and almost all of Europe.

I've always seen "curb" in US English, FWIW, never "kerb". (Assuming US English is what you meant by "Yankish".)

Arguably, that's a bug in the editor.

I'd like to think United Airlines knows better than to spam like this. This is one of the most blatant spamming/vandalism attempts I've seen in a long time.

Please do not glue the boundaries of parking areas to roads. This makes it much harder to edit and is also inaccurate.

Please do not combine changesets for the United States and Egypt in the same changeset. This makes it much more difficult to see where changes are actually being made.
