Google explicitly forbids using their map products to improve other maps. We keep to that so gMaps can not be used as a source to improve our database!

apart from, again, mapping all over the world, I'd like to point out that this relation/2955118 is not "natural=snow". That should be mapped separately from the Island including the "terrain" which is an undocumented tag. Could you please explain what you wish to tell us with "terrain"?

Also: Watch out for solid lines with white dashes inside. Those are boundaries and shouldn't be touched unless you really know what you are doing.

Next: Please check with the wiki at wiki.osm.org when you try to create things. It's ok to map objects that haven't been mapped yet but please try to find out how to map them before you hit "edit".

re: levels

that clearly is mapping for the renderer and should be avoided. Every "map" makes choices as to what is displayed in what way and thus should not be lied to just to have a certain effect when viewing the data displayed by one certain renderer.

re the paths: we map what's there. If it's private we have access tags. If there are gates we map the gates. So once the data is gathered we should not remove it without very good reason (and private access isn't such a reason).

About the developments in Asia: You say "proposed". Does that mean the construction hasn't yet begun? If yes, please don't create construction sites. Also: Why do you add "level=2" to some construction sites?
