I tag vanno sulla relazione, non sulla way esterna, sennò la piazza non appare..
(potresti provare josm come programma per modificare :-) )

Fredie, usually if some local is telling you you're doing something wrong they should have a reason. You're the chair mapper, not the one with local knowledge.

Sulle sorgenti potresti aggiungere il "tag" che identifica la sorgente (non so se nel programma che stai usando c'è "Sorgente", se mai in Altri tag il valore giusto è natural=spring). osm.wiki/IT:Tag:natural%3Dspring

se è una scogliera potresti aggiungere natural = cliff nei tag aggiuntivi, così dovrebbe apparire sulla mappa.
