| 177794076 | Welcome to OpenStreetMap and many thanks for helping to improve the map. The wiki page for ford=yes suggests that you could use depth=* in combination, although I appreciate that it might not be practical or safe to measure or estimate this. I'm also not sure if any routers will take this into account. It could be worth asking on https://community.openstreetmap.org/ for other suggestions, which may be better than mine. Although you didn't add it to the ford, bicycle=no (and access tags generally) apply to legal rather than practical access. |

| 177738346 | (Review requested) This looks OK to me, although you don't need to addr:housename=* tags unless there's an actual name distinct from the number. |

| 177485330 | I agree with its lack of fitness for purpose. Some time in the next week or so, I'll go out and take some Mapillary imagery in both directions between Manor Road and Memorial Recreation Ground. If you've got any photos of your own and are on social media, it might be worth tagging London Cycling Campaign, Newham Cycling Campaign and "Plaistovian" (Cllr John Morris, Deputy Cabinet Member for Sustainable Transport at Newham and councillor for the neighbouring Plaistow West & Canning Town East ward). I'll do the same once my imagery is available. |

| 177485330 | I'm afraid it is. It used to be my cycling route from Stratford to Victoria Dock for swimming in 2020/2021. It's part of the Lower Lea Valley cycle route implemented half-heartedly by LB Newham in the 2010s. The source given my @MacLondon in relation/13874834 (from LB Tower Hamlets) is now a dead link. It's had no maintenance since then. Signage and dropped kerbs were treated as optional luxuries #ItsAllVeryNewham At the entrance to Star Park from Percy Road/Avondale Road, there isn't a dropped kerb, but there is buff corduroy tactile paving on the pavement either side, indicating a transition from a footway to a shared use surface. Between Grange Road and Pretoria Road/Ladysmith Road the implementation is even worse. Approaching from the Grange Road, there is (or was last time I was there) an incorrect traffic_sign=GB:955 sign (it's obviously not a "route for use by pedal cycles only"). At the other end, I think there was a sign indicating a walking and cycling route, but no dropped kerb or tactile paving. |

| 177451964 | (Review requested) Unfortunately, you can't use FindMyStreet for OpenStreetMap, see https://www.findmystreet.co.uk/terms-of-use There are at least two sources of street names available as open data from Ordnance Survey, licensed under the Open Government Licence: OS Open Names
OS Open Roads

| 176574042 | No problem. There's a lot you can do with 3D mapping in OSM if you have the patience and inclination. https://demo.f4map.com/#lat=51.6671321&lon=-0.5924928&zoom=19&camera.theta=36.02 |

| 177407465 | (Review requested) The tagging looks fine to me. There are some optional tags you could add to the road sections, dual_carriageway=yes + sidewalk:left=separate + sidewalk:right=no With the zebra crossing, you could split the way where it crosses the central reservation, tagging it as footway=traffic_island . The two separate zebra crossings would then be crossing:island=no |

| 177410106 | (Review requested) If this is the location of your office, you might want to add a tag like office=company so that data consumers know what sort of feature this is. You could also add the address and other contact information. |

| 177347425 | Hello, latest Dopwell sock puppet. You do not appear to have got the message conveyed by the 10 year DWG blocks on all the previous accounts you've used to vandalise OSM with fictitious power lines. neildopwell osm.org/user_blocks/16681 Grayson BD osm.org/user_blocks/16522 Grayson Braham-Dopwell osm.org/user_blocks/16579 |

| 177369841 | (Review requested) Apart from the highly unprofessional SEO spam, I very much doubt that your premises are in the middle of the road at the intersection of Carting Lane and Herbert's Passage. Your website gives your address as 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 - feel free to add your business there with meaningful tags. If it's just your office, then you need to add office=company . If you have retail premises, then you would use shop=medical_supply I've deleted this node. |

| 177147740 | It may take a few weeks before it propagates to routing services which use OSM data. Of the two which I use most often, Komoot can take 1-2 weeks and Strava 2-4 weeks. |

| 177147740 | I've now updated this in changeset/177237104 A quick summary:
I hope that looks reasonable to you. |
|
| 177217211 | Thanks for checking this. I've removed the address tags and changed it to building=service in changeset/177217608 |

| 177147740 | Thanks, that's great! I'm on my way out now, will update later. |

| 177195123 | (Review requested) Welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for updating this. Where a business has closed, most of the business-specific tags should be deleted, but it's worth using a lifecycle prefix for the "main" tag, for example changing amenity=cafe to disused:amenity=cafe . You can also rename the name=* tag to old_name=* . You can also optionally add check_date=* with the date you surveyed it. The advantage of doing this is that survey apps like StreetComplete will prompt users to check whether a vacant shop, café, etc. is still vacant, or has a new occupier. I've updated the tags on this one as an example. Happy mapping! |
