The residents that live next to the Hibriten trail repeatedly block the area around the forest service gate making it hazardous to hikers and pets. This area already has erosion in several places. These individuals also place questionable signs and notices claiming it is their property though it is not. The trail and mountain are owned by the county and also perhaps communication corporations in relation to the towers on the mountain (may need verification as to exact ownership; state, county, com, etc.). Though most people just ignore them, this particular spot could be problematic since they are causing potential injury to hikers. This is from regular direct local knowledge and observation. Please leave unresolved until I or someone else can physically verify the blockades created by the residence are no longer being placed.
