The conflation strategy used with this import has not worked - it has introduced many duplicate address nodes. E.g. Node node/8660691512 and node/3208511029
This is repeated on many address nodes along Mangere Road

Please do not "test" changes like this in OSM - it is a live map in use by many people and your change has tagged a cycleway that does not exist - reverting

Yes just leave tags of in this case.

"Not Specified" is not used with the bicycle key anywhere else in OSM: https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/?key=bicycle#values Whilst you are generally free to use what ever values you want, no data consumers will likely use this value so the default of not specifying at all, as it was, will be functionally equivalent.

Are these paths signposted as being legally not for bikes? As per bicycle=* this key is for legal access, not suitability which is what your changeset comment refers to.

Avondale station already exists as way/61845866 and has done for 11 years. Also you have tagged this with building=yes and layer=2 which are both incorrect to the best of my knowledge

If this is a drive way it should be tagged as highway=service and service=driveway and does not need the addr tags, those go on the address nodes (as already done)

Welcome to OSM and thanks for your edits. Just a pointer that might make your life easier: in NZ the majority of buildings consist of mostly 90 degree corners. You can easily make all corners 90 degrees in the Id editor by selecting the building, right clicking and choosing “Square”.

Welcome to OSM and thanks for your edits. Just a pointer that might make your life easier: in NZ the majority of buildings consist of mostly 90 degree corners. You can easily make all corners 90 degrees in the Id editor by selecting the building, right clicking and choosing “Square”.
