Yeah good point. `ele:accuracy` has been in use for awhile. `ele:datum` should be removed upon conversion but I figured it was better than not having the elevation or not specifying the datum.

Yes, the `ele` tag value is relative to the datum given in `ele:datum`. I see this could be improved by conversion. I will work on that at some point.

I manually reviewed and conflated every feature if that's what you're asking.

In California and Nevada not the four corners lol

Thanks for the info! I've updated it for you

Hi Andrew, based on your changeset comment, is it possible you meant to tag this as a survey point instead of a monitoring station?

Hi Nick, welcome back to OSM. For your reference, `boundary=national_park` is often used for large area that aren't strictly US National Parks. `leisure=park` is for small municipal parks and the like. I changed the tag to `boundary=protected_area` since that seems most suitable.

Hi Bryce, thanks for doing this import 13 years ago! I've actually been working on cleaning up the USGS sites in OSM and making them all standardized and maintainable. Would you mind if I adjusted the tags on these? More info here: https://github.com/quincylvania/usgs-to-osm

West Virginia not Delaware lol

Happy to help! Almost done adding all active streamgages for the whole US. You can browse them on OpenTrailMap: https://opentrailmap.us/#map=14.63/42.57775/-124.05961&mode=canoe&selected=node/12092664951&inspect=1

Hi MapSpot, thanks for the note. I think the wiki means `parking=yes` and `parking=no` are mistakes when used on `amenity=parking`. I'm using the tag to indicate the presence of the amenity regardless of whether it is mapped separately (similar to `toilets`, `bin`, `camping`, etc.). We can't expect every app to run a spatial query to find all the parking near a thing, and even if parking is physically nearby it doesn't mean it's accessible to the POI. If there is a better tag to use then please let me know, but I think the wiki just needs clarification. It's critical to know whether parking exists at a water access point so paddlers can find drivable put-ins and take-outs (as opposed to mid-route stopping points).

Glad to hear it! You can easily view streamgages on the OpenTrailMap paddle view over at https://opentrailmap.us/#map=11.27/40.5276/-74.5975&mode=canoe&selected=node/12077747693

Nice find. I might add that as a source tag somehow on this section.

Hi treestryder, I've documented the tag at waterway=access_point . Not sure why it didn't show up in your searches. I've been experimenting with this tag (and using it alongside canoe=put_in) because I don't think canoe=put_in works well as a primary POI tag. `canoe` is an access tag, and using an access tag as a POI tag is nonstandard in OSM. A gas station isn't motor_vehicle=gas. Anyway, I'm happy to discuss further or brainstorm better tagging for this.

Very cool, thanks for the info. The PDF map isn't very clear given the scale, and it's 6 years old, but it's nice that it's signed. I've never taken the SRT north of Norristown, I'll have to get up there sometime.

Hi jackflash1991, thanks for all your trail mapping. I'm curious, is there an official redundant route along the road here? I'm not seeing it on https://schuylkillriver.org/map/. Seems like the towpath trail is the preferred route and on-road biking is not necessary.

Hi, that sounds good, thanks for reviewing this change

Hi BPTT. I don't know the details of this road specifically. I will have to survey it next time I'm in the area. I'd assume that any dirt track in the pine barrens outside state land, especially with a gate, is motor_vehicle=private. Permissive access for foot and bicycle may be possible depending on posted signs.

Also, apologies for breaking your tool! This was not my intention.
