Changeset When Comment

Yes @Wildsharky, this is a partial revert of that changeset. See revert:id=* tag on this changeset.

Thanks!

179269047

Okay. If it never should have been on the map then it's good to remove it. Thanks for the cleanup!

Well presumably Pierce county might not have the alternate name. If you believe Pierce county's records are correct about 116th Squadron being the primary name, I think you should add Barnes Boulevard back as alt_name=* unless you have more knowledge about that name being invalid (e.g. is it old_name=Barnes Boulevard instead of alt_name=Barnes Boulevard?)

Hey @Ampersand%20Fitness

As the robot detected, you seem to have accidentally dragged a part of Aurora Ave far away from where it's supposed to be. I fixed that for you. Please be careful, and in the future if you break something and can't figure out how to fix it, please reach out so other mappers can help resolve issues like this. Thanks!

Oh, where did image=* and scraper_microdata:date=* come from?

179228304

Thanks for updating these parks. I have two small notes:

First, phone numbers should be formatted with the country code, using all dashes. So like phone=+1-425-622-9406

Second, while you're at it, you might consider linking these to Wikidata to help data consumers grab more of the rich data available, That would probably be operator:wikidata=Q1507935 unless you wanted to be even fancier and create Wikidata items for each park or something like that.

Thanks again, happy mapping!

Awesome, thanks for confirming!

@Nathan%20Runyan is there a sign that says 15 mph here? If not, do you know if it was previously a 15-mph zone, i.e. why was it tagged as 15 mph? Please let me know!

I added this in changeset/179118819, could you look over those changes to endure they look correct? Thanks!

1. highway=service shouldn't be removed. It's what tells data consumers that "this line represents a road." highway=service is used in conjunction with service=driveway for a driveway. I added highway=service back.

2. Is there a sign that states the speed limit? I'm confirming this especially because you've indicated that this is a private road. If it's written on a sign then it's okay, but otherwise you'd probably be running into issues with osm.wiki/Verifiability

Thanks!

179047142

Thanks! Is this name written on a sign at the entrance?

If so, I'm not sure as to whether that is really intended to be the name of this roadway. Could the sign actually mean "this is the way to house number 18280" and "this road is private property / privately operated"?

cool, thanks for confirming!

100% agree. Just wanted to make sure there weren't data quality issues you were aware of.

Happy mapping!

179000349

Thanks. I added back some info you removed instead of reformatting. Was there a reason you removed e.g. phone=*?

178955222

Thanks. We can tag diet:vegan=*, so I've set this to diet:vegan=yes. But if this bakery offers exclusively (or nearly exclusively) vegan products, and no non-vegan foods, we could tag it more precisely as diet:vegan=only. Are you familiar with the options offered at this store?

Happy mapping!

178925235

Thanks. I left a message on changeset/162981658 asking about those.

162981658

Hey, a couple of noexit=yes nodes were removed from your changes in changeset/178925235. Could you confirm that those weren't correct? What did you intend by noexit=yes in the middle of a way? Did you intend to add a barrier=gate access=no or something similar?

Thanks

Wouldn't the second-from left lane in turn:lanes:forward=* be slight_left and not slight_right?

Looks good, thank you! One minor note is that, since many buildings are rectangular or composed of rectangular elements, it's often considered standard practice to rectangularize a building after tracing or adjusting it. In iD, the web-based editor you used, you can do this by right-clicking the selected object and selecting "Square," or by selecting the area and pressing Q.

But that's a totally minor thing. Thank you for keeping OpenStreetMap data up-to-date, we always love to have more contributors :) If you have any questions please feel free to reach out here, or I've found the OSM US Slack to be a very helpful resource as well: https://slack.openstreetmap.us/

Thanks again for your contributions and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
