Hi SekeRob,
did I understand you right?
name="Gruppo Volontario Comunale"
operator="Protezione Civile Frisa"

You edited this object before emergency=disaster_response got approved, so it is unclear if you had the same definition for it in mind as it is now documented in the wiki. Can you tell me if this place fits this wiki entry?
emergency=disaster_response

Hello techbug,
I think you tried to map a cinema here:
node/11228312984
On the aerial image it looks like a grass-area. Is here realy a cinema?

Hi sulriograndense,
I have some questions about an object you added. Can you maybe have a look?

Thanks for the response and all that information. I now updated the emergency-tagging. I am not sure if one or two nodes would be better. I leave that for now.

I think I copied the wrong link, sorry. But thanks a lot for fixing that anyways. :)

Hi Nighto,
you edited some objects here nearly 10 years ago:
node/2675797972
node/2675797969
node/2675797956
node/2675797979

What are they? Is emergency_service=lifeguard a typo for emergency=lifeguard or maybe emergency=water_rescue? Why are these objects also tagged with amenity=toilets?
emergency=lifeguard
emergency=water_rescue

I opened a node about this to make the question more public:

Hi stan1sław,
it seems that you requested a review of this edit. I found it by searching for uses of emergency=disaster_response, that where inserted into the database before emergency=disaster_response got approved.
Does this object fit to this wiki page? emergency=disaster_response

Hi SekeRob,
you mapped something with emergency=disasterr_response here. Do you have more details about this place? What is it called? Who operates it? Does the object fit the now approved definition of emergency=disaster_response?
node/8603407825
emergency=disaster_response

I didn't mean that life rings are not important in general. They are just very small and not always interesting. But that depends on the use case of the data consumer.

emergency=defibrilator is also not rendered on OSM-carto. Example:
node/11304832734
It is the same with emergency=fire_hydrant. Example:
node/3798292277

OSM-carto, the default map you see on openstreetmap.org, is just one of many use cases of the OSM data. It is still important/usefull to map objects that are not rendered here. There is for example openfiremap:
http://www.openfiremap.de/?zoom=14&lat=49.46043&lon=11.11525&layers=B00000T
When zoomed in enough you see every emergency=fire_hydrant as a red dot.

So if someone wants to offer a map showing every emergency=life_ring they can do it pretty easily, if they are existent in the OSM-database.

I hope I was able to help you. If you still have any questions feel free to ask them.

Hallo benjaminalbrecht,
du hast hier einen THW Ortsverband entfernt. Dabei hast du operator:wikidata=Q697698 stehen lassen. War das absicht? Wird das Gebäude noch durch das THW genutzt?

What you describe is tagging for the renderer:
osm.wiki/Tagging_for_the_renderer

You added a tag not because it adds real world information but just to get a subjectivly nice map in your favourite renderer. That is not good practice. Please abstain from that practice.

Personally I do not think that life rings should be rendered on OSM-carto. I am not sure but I think even before my removal of amenity=emergency they where not rendered on OSM-carto. If we rendered every small and insicnificant object the map would be very crowded. Specalised maps like openseamap could render such objects. If you want them to render them you need to get in contact with the author of the renderer and ask them. If they decide to render them than thats fine.

Hi RexTCA,
you used a strange tagging here, probably a typo: "emergency"="fire_hydrant:tyepe=pillar"

Can you have a look on the objects of this changeset?

I have the same question for this place:
