| 2735499 | This mountain is called Clinch Mountain. Joppa is simply the community on the south side of Clinch Mountain between Rutledge and Blaine. When the 911 address system was developed the name of the road across Clinch Mountain from Joppa to Powder Springs was changed from the Mountain Road to Joppa Mountain Road. This road name has caused a lot of confusion to visitors and new-comers to the area concerning the actual name of the mountain. |
