Hi, I notice a lot of loops in the PNG
https://waterwaymap.org/loops#map=7.7/-4.244/142.534
These are almost all errors caused by mapping waterways as flowing upstream.
Waterways always should be drawn to flow downstream.
waterway=*
Are your teams able to notify your mappers thanks.

waterway=*

Hi Miryam, I noticed these loops on the waterway map which indicates probable errors
https://waterwaymap.org/loops#map=10.28/-7.5211/144.8036
Waterways must flow downstream to the sea and I notice many of them flow upstream instead.

Hi Ben, you removed the place=village tag from Dookie. I assume this was not intentional and do you want me to put it back?

You are welcome to discuss the subject on our community website. You may find there are more suitable options to better address your concerns than than I have suggested.

Google maps is probably your best option for an online listing. I notice many businesses seem to be located in the general area of their client base.

153763576

OpenStreetMap is not a business directory. If your online shopping store does not have a physical presence then it may not be added to OSM. If it does have a physical presence - for example, if there is an office somewhere - then you can place an office=company object where that office is.

You need to place your business over the building you operate from.

153763576

There is no business building located here.
What are trying to add to the map?

Hi, an informal well used path can be viewed in Strava following the section you have deleted. We would prefer to map all informal paths and use appropriate tags to further define their characteristics.
There has been extensive discussion within the Australian osm community regarding this and further information can be found on our wiki too.

Hi
Osmi finds a problem to fix here
https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=geometry&lon=152.97068&lat=-26.60730&zoom=17

Hi, you only guessed a couple of correct tags. I have fixed.

153624480

I also realigned the streets to Esri imagery as it is more accurately aligned than Bing

153624480

I also added the ABC article website as it explains the situation well.

Thanks for the feedback BaileyNelly.
I have added tags in line with Warin's suggestion plus a few more which are inline with the osm wiki. I didn't add the fence as I couldn't see it on the imagery to be able to place it but I have added access=no to the area.

An ABC article from 2022
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-12-02/port-pirie-lead-smelter-abandoned-homes-demolished-contaminated/101724554

153624480

This explains the removal of the houses in the area in 2023.

The houses appear to being removed from the area and looking on the Port Pirie Development Plan, it may be part of coastal conservation plans.

Hi, can you give some more information on why you have added a park named 'abandon' to part of Port Pirie and added no access tags to Vera Street.
The park has also been added to the Upper Spencer Gulf Marine Park.

Hi, the Queensland Department of National Park, Recreation, Sports and Racing ended in about 2015. Various changes to titles have occurred since then. Are you mapping locally and able to check the signage?
