Best house in the street!

Hi, please redraw the house outline instead of placing a rectangle over the plot of land

Hi, there a few errors to correct here
https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=130.85654&lat=-12.44424&zoom=16
Perhaps splitting the wood and water area polygons, using multipolygons and sharing the ways may be better than the overlapping between these.

Hi, I remapped this area using later Esri imagery showing new buildings which shortened service road. I notice in your comments you were using Esri but changeset tags indicate Bing.

Hi, osmi detected some errors here
https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=149.18074&lat=-21.08909&zoom=15
Multipolygon outers cannot share sides so easiest fix is to map simple polygons instead.

I added the driveway for Wallace South apartments and this will assist routing to find the right entrance once the navigation apps update.
The address for the shopping centre land is 22-28 so I fixed that

It looks good to me, but not sure if the outdoor seating area should be be part of the building.
For big complex buildings with different shapes and heights the building:part method is best.
If you want each part of the cafe to render you would instead need to map as 4 individual polygons (2 buildings, a roof and the outdoor area).

I don’t tend to do much building mapping but I would use building for outside perimeter and building building parts for the individual parts then 3d mappers can add their tags. building:part sections don’t render though so not many would map using that method - only the outside polygon tenders which would normally carry any name. Mutipolygons for buildings are best used when there are inners like courtyards. If you want more discussion, it is a good query to ask on our forum.

...comes down to this I guess:
Valid multipolygon conditions
Generally, the multipolygon relation can be used to build multipolygons in compliance with the OGC Simple Feature standard. Anything that is not a valid multipolygon according to this standard (e.g., polygons with intersecting rings) should also be considered an invalid multipolygon relation, with the notable exception of touching inner rings.
...your has outer touching rings.
Wiki used to have better invalid examples of shared outer rings but I can find it now but wiki is becoming less useful with time.

osm website also has a link next to the search box (icon with arrows) that shows how these navigation apps are routing through the area. Just drag the green and red icons to where you want to start and finish. These are yet to update but should be ok in a few days too.
The navigation apps also have individual update schedules.

These are versions of maps using the osm database data and their developers have varying update cycles for the maps. I expect the ones you listed will update within about a week but there are some using osm data that update very infrequently. You may need to fresh your screen to make the computer load and display the latest version.

Hi, please not alter correct tags to make your router work.
Try using https://brouter.de/ to validate routing.

Hi Florence, this was reverted by me due to it breaking the main highway.
I have edited the area and deleted the section of road that passes through the private property that is not to be used as as an access to the highway. I also added a 'no exit' tag at the end of View road and at the stub of road on the highway with a gate.
Once this propagates though the navigation apps there will be no routing through the property from osm data.

Hi, if you change the imagery to Esri all these new streets are visible. A lot of new Mapbox imagery has been updated too.

There multiple osmi errors in this area that need remapping to correct.

177782805

Hi, please don’t delete private ways in osm.
We have tag to denote them as private - access=private
You own your property but you don’t get to control what is mapped on the osm

Hi, the coffee shop is already mapped

way/1466354404#map=19/-32.728232/151.558721&layers=D
It is best to add or amend already mapped items than duplicate them.

Hi, multipolygons cannot have shared segments between the polygons.
https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=153.00183&lat=-27.48620&zoom=19
Simple polygons instead of a relation is ok or use a polygon around the outside and use building:part to map three parts.
Osm wiki has info on how multipolygon relations need to be made.

Hi, multipolygons cannot share sides like you have drawn the water at the Yeppoon Golf Club.
https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=150.72138&lat=-23.14448&zoom=18
Just a simple polygon would fix it.

I reverted this changeset as the deleted items are still evident on imagery. Let me know if situation is different on the ground.
